In his defense, unless I'm missing something, it is not unlikely he didn't hear anything, especially when munching is louder in person when you do it. I think it's also possible that the audio input AGC amplified the sound beyond what is heard in person.

I don’t think anyone has located any articles or news related to this yet. So we only have Nick’s version of events. He says there was a stabbing and we heard screams. So we assume he isn’t lying. But I doubt even he knows if the person died unless he saw someone brought out in a body bag.
