Nikocado Avocado / Nicholas Perry - (Formerly) Fat Faggot who cries because he eats and eats because he cries.

I’ve seen this play out so many times.
I really, really don't think you have
I think you've seen actual regular obseos who got fat organically, but you have to remember Nick is quite a unique case, we don't 100% know how his mind works and frankly I wouldn't even put it past him to actually have some plan ahead

Nick isn't your average super fatfag who just can't put down the cheetos and keeps saying "I'll lose it all eventually" and can never bring himself to get off his fat ass... He has a reason for being this fat, he did it in a calculated manner (even if the math was horrible), I don't believe his "I'm a GENIUS, I'm always one step ahead of you, everything has been predetermined and written in the ancient tombs!" act, but I do believe he is capable, to some extend, to plan ahead quite well. And we see how eagerly he gets up and jumps around and happily struts about putting on a show, this isn't the energy of any ol lazy fat bastard.... I trust that you've seen many fatasses, but I don't believe you've ever seen a Nikocado

Hear me out: I firmly believe that the reason fats, particularly hooge fats, are so lazy and slow isn't just BECAUSE they're fat, but rather, they're often fat because they're lazy and slow. It's a certain personality type that causes a person to gain that much weight, that's why "chef's fat" gets it's name and looks so different, it's a unique case. People who gain fat for reasons other than being a lazy slob will always be healthier and have an easier time dropping it, because they ultimately don't have the personality type for it. Nick was never a food addict, and sure, maybe he is one now, but that addiction is 100% chemical in my opinion, he never seemed to have the personality to get addicted to food. What he's addicted to is attention. And he isn't a lazy bastard either, he's an actor, even at his massive girth he's always happy to stomp about, sure carrying all that weight might make it more difficult now, but he clearly still desires to do it and does it quite well. That's evidence that he isn't mentally predisposed to obesity, he got there by a different road, and that road has a much smoother way back up.

I think you're getting this wrong. You seem to be equating Nick to someone like Rob McElhenney, or Mac from IASIP, who gained a bunch of weight and then lost it again because he thought it'd be funny if his character got really fat. Nick has yoyo-ed with his weight for pretty much the entirety of his adulthood, but has been fat for some time now. At this point, he is so sodium-brained and deep fried that he's really going to struggle to break the habit. It isn't as simple as just dropping all the food and working out more for him.

It doesn't help that Orlin is a complete fatass, too. They're going to be each other's worst enemies when it comes to losing weight, and they're both so conditioned to ordering fast food whenever they want that one will give in, resulting in the other ordering with them. I think they'll both need to ship themselves off to a fat camp until they can make progress for a month or two, or somehow ban themselves from Uber eats et al.

I am not equating his fatness to a temporary stunt, but I can obsoletely observe that he also isn't just fat the same way your aunt Janice the mayo guzzler is fat. We need to account for a case like this

I can only assume that you don't watch his videos - He quite literally is.
It's *because* I watch him that I can tell you this with confidence. If I didn't watch him, it'd be much easier for me to just say "haha fat" (well, I still say that, but now with more faff behind it) and that'd be the end of that

Nick doesn't have the personality needed to become fat organically, I fully believe if he never adopted veganism and simply ate the way he always would've wanted without ever getting on the onlines, he never would've become obese, it's a combination of many factors, of which a chemical food addiction makes up only one, and he still has the energy and personality of someone who isn't a lost cause

Nick is a pretty perfect case for the kind of mental issues that lead someone to put on his weight - orphaned in Ukraine and taken to the other side of the world to be raised by foster parents. Yes he eats a lot of food on camera, and does so for money, but there are loads of mukbangers/competitive eaters who are skinny as they look after their diet when they aren't filming or competing. If your theory held water, then he would be in this category - even when Nick was skinny, he used to eat abnormally huge amounts of fruit and vegetables, he was just lucky that it was nowhere near as calorie-dense as what he eats now.

He clearly has an extremely shitty relationship with food, and his youtube channel has given him reason to exacerbate his issues with food. Nick is clearly eating as much if not more off camera as he is on camera, and this pretence that it's all a joke is just a coping mechanism that you've fallen for.

The guy has an addiction to food, and he has to find a way to break that, but I don't see how he can break that living in Vegas with Orlin. He needs to find a way to break his habit whether that is going to some kind of facility or fat camp, moving away from Vegas/Orlin until he can get his diet in check, or if he could manage it, moving back to Colombia.

I still hold onto the belief that it's possible Nick has a plan, and it's possible he will go on to lose the weight
We will just have to wait and see who's right in this eternal shitflinging contest we call the interwebz

Maybe we're both wrong and one day the man will walk on screen and just shed the fatsuit and makeup he has been wearing for all those years, revealing the skinny little guy beneath like a butterfly from its cocoon

I've very little interest in eating competition videos or mukbang shit as a general rule, but in the few I've seen the hosts have all been very fit and thin, and usually say that they've been fasting or calorie counting for a number of days before pigging out. Eating every item on a fast food restaurant's menu is never going to be healthy, but the ones that make a career of it seem to be very health conscious and carefully assess the risks before hand.

Nik was a skilled violinist when he started yt, and while talent is important when it comes to mastering an instrument, by far and away the most important factor is discipline and persistence. A ten year old is not going to blister their fingers on the strings for eight hours everyday of their own free will, behind the camera is an adult standing by with a bull whip. He went from having rich, strict disciplinarian parents who would have controlled his every move, and then he was an adult and making his own decisions. It's pretty common for people who've had their lives tightly enforced and organised by their high achieving parents to well and truly lose their way once they're out of their parents house. Sometimes they find their way back; Nik did not. And now he's selling photos of his anus online.

Nik never developed impulse control because he was never allowed to have an impulse until he was old enough to be a father himself. He indulges himself endlessly because he was never indulged. He has no direction or expectations for the future because that was something that his parents had for him.

You know the old cliche of the vicar's spotless, high achieving daughter who came of age, moved to London, and almost immediately became a porn star? That's Nik. Only gay, and fat, and ugly.

"The best-laid schemes o mice and men gang aft a-gley" - Robert Burns

I'm willing to believe that Nik has a plan, but you can come up with a plan without being capable to follow-through with it. It's impossible to know whether or not Nik has the discipline or not until he actually has a legitimate crack at weight-loss, but the evidence for people of his size is that he most likely won't.

He did try weight loss. He lost 80 pounds.
And he failed. And now he’s gaining again.
He can lose weight sure. Anybody can lose weight. But he’s never going to be skinny again. Im not trying to be argumentative. I appreciate your insight and different perspective. But in my opinion you are falling for his copes.

He’s a 30 something year old fat ass gay man. And he’s going to continue being a fatass because he’s unable to control himself. He did try. He failed. That’s why he got mad and said fuck it and went back to content as normal. There isn’t going to a big reveal or a weight loss journey.

At best he’s going to have some huge health scare and work with a team of doctors to (maybe) lose the weight.

But as far as him just having the will power to sit down and do it one day? Not going to happen. Im sure he believes he can. And maybe he can yo-yo that 80 pounds. But his BMI is never going to be healthy without serious intervention.

He is not the exception of deathfat syndrome. Just because he’s more well read.

Nik is most definitely a unique case, which I can't figure out. I do feel bad for the fast-food workers that have to put those orders together for him because he only eats about 1/4 of it on camera (and probably throws the rest away...although he still eats enough of it to make him fat). It's equally sad that he has taken Orlin (who had a lot of promise in his own right) down with him. But hey, they're both adults, even if they choose to act like children.

Anyone who uses YT to exploit their vanity, no matter what the genre, has no sympathy from me.

Thank you for summarizing something known for 5+ years now. Worth the necrobump.

You’re overthinking this. He just has a disordered relationship with food. He was previously thin because his diet was bizarrely restrictive. He only ate raw fruit and veg. It was was similarly addictive type behaviour but to the targeted restriction. Now he’s just let his disorder run riot and he gets rewarded for it via views and attention, positive or negative it’s all the same to the disordered mind.
