Is this really what we're reduced to? Not even saying it's a good update, but let's actually look at the facts and not the wails and seething of youtube grifters. The update added a 3/32 (or roughly 9.3%) chance for the random button to pull an intermission track, when it previously only pulled full tracks. Ok, not good, but also not the end of the world. Oh, wait, it also dramatically increased the weighting of full tracks in the semi-random selection of tracks you get in addition to the random button, which was the ENTIRE reason people were picking random in the first place?

Is this really what we're going to do for the next eight fucking years? I'm already just so fucking tired of this shit already. I wanna dunk on welcome tour for being a shit game and not even worth the download if it was free. I wanna call out pokemon for being ugly as sin with less content than (the non diamond and pearl) ds games from 20 years ago. Drag x Drive looks fucking retarded, I wanna laugh at it. Not wait around for retarded youtubers gaming the algorithm for clicks to give marching orders on what absolutely trivial thing we need to be outraged over this day as if it's worse than a hundred EAs and Ubisofts thrown into a blender.

The Mayflash one requires some fiddling and older models have some frame delay whilst the original one has no issues out of the box.

I've also done some research and apparently the adapter can be used in tabletop mode, you just have to have a USB-C dongle with at least two USB-A ports.
 
Mario Kart World releases a new update removing the Random choice from the online multiplayer. In the same month the game came out, many players are already announcing they want to stop playing the game they bought a new console for. The next big Nintendo game is still a few weeks away and they have no other game currently in the pipeline. This is going to be one long generation.

Yup. They've been quietly "coding" this into their games for awhile now. I always found the musical number in Odyssey to be far too over-the-top for the utterly G-rated Mario universe. But they've slowly been leaning into emphasizing their female roster in recent years.

How did they wokeify it? I played the DS game and enjoyed it. I was thinking of getting the Switch version because I want the sequel. Did they make Ashley a they/themlet or something?

I have never played a Donkey Kong game besides the old arcade game. So I have no idea how Pauline is characterized. But where are her shoes? Does she normally run around barefoot? Every time I see a shoeless female character my mind goes to "Oh great. Footfag bait". Thanks internet. I hate you. You've ruined everything for me. :mad:

Being barefoot is meant to indicate either poverty or being a wild child. I assume the latter.

A random park ranger from the second game is given a darker skin color and also made to look more fit. There were also two characters in the second game that got sort of blended together into a new black girl character. That’s the extent of the woke from what I saw.

Honestly, every issue in the remake is more-or-less them rewriting the second game as the first is perfectly fine given the limitations of it not being on DS anymore. The second game was seemingly streamlined with them removing characters and story beats, along with rewriting things to link up more with the first game.

Race swapped characters. Worth noting is they censored Ashley's outfit too, but I don't really care about that.

I loath the Pixar-y art & animation direction they're taking the Mario universe in. I first noticed it with Odyssey and it has NEVER sat right, Bananza is quadrupling down on it.
