Sakurai is mentally ill. His games' menus look like a mobile banking app, hideous.
Completely and utterly mogged by the pink puffball

Today I learned that to tear down a switch 2 pro controller, you need to use isopropyl alochol and a spudger since they designed them with a top plate, then you can get to the screws and disassemble it. They shitified the process just enough to make it a slight hassle having to replace those drifting marvel thumbsticks.
I've never had any problem with the pro controllers. I still use my Switch ones because there's basically no reason to get the Switch 2 version (unless you care about the C button which I do not and never will). They're, at this point, probably the most used controllers in my lifetime and they still work great.

The joycons suck shit though. I've had to get two of them repaired and a third is starting to go. No problems with the Switch 2 joycons so far, but I also basically don't use them.

Actually, did people figure out if the C Button on the Switch 2 pro controller can be used like any other button ala what some people did with making the modern Xbox's "share" button if it was paired to a computer by bluetooth or direct connection?, because if so, then it'd be an extra button that you could map anything to.

If you haven't tried it, give the switch 2 pro controller a go, it has the smoothest sticks I've ever felt. it has some sort of internal restrictor plate so the edges of the sticks don't grind into the casing of the controller like the old ones do.

Did Miyamoto brick everyone's Switch 1 so they'd have to buy the new one, or is mine just a broken piece of shit?

i remember when they revealed the menu redesign in ultimate like it was a selling point. or the update where they said you can use the switch as a MP3 player and listen to smash music in sleep mode, and showed some girl lugging her switch around in her purse with earbuds in it. nips just don't get it.

I still use mine. I keep it next to my bed and sometimes I'll just play a bit of Switch in bed if I don't feel like sitting on the couch. Which these days is often.

The only console I ever had break on me in its normal lifetime was my Switch. Bear in mind, I never owned a 360 or PS3, both of which were infamous for breaking.

launching the switch 2 this early with nogaems because of tariff scares will probably hurt them in the long run, not quite as bad as sega surprise dropping the saturn but still not good.
Dunno man. Nintendo has sold over 10 million units. I would say Nintendo is in a pretty good spot and will continue to sell units because it’s Nintendo.

never had a nintendo console break on me. i had a GBC cartridge die once but that was it. my 360 RRoD's multiple times but i fixed it by unplugging it, holding the power button for 30 seconds then plugging it back in. this happened a few times over a decade ago and hasn't happened since.
you can fix just about anything with that trick btw

My DS Lites never really lasted 2 years. The thumbpad of my 3DS were always the first to disintegrate. JoyCon drift. One or two of my cubes burned out after several years.
