I got called a bootlicker a few months back for saying someone was retarded for seemingly to genuinely think sub 750k LIFETIME for the switch 2 was a reasonable prediction.

In every country we have actual sales data for, PS5 is down 40-60% YoY. With a PS6 this fucking close on the horizon, it's basically gta gives them a 30 million boost or bust.

It's certainly a loss for consumers, their property rights moving forward, and for their wallets. No one thought goytendo was going to get their shit pushed in (even when they should). The ultimate loss is one for the industry. People may be free to buy a switch 2 or a virtual boy 1.5 or some labo cardboard crap, but those things selling doesn't make goytendo's practices good, or the modern industry any less shit and in need of a reset.

People shouldn't be celebrating goytendo making bank on anything, that seems to me like console war faggotry of the lowest caliber.

Today I learned that to tear down a switch 2 pro controller, you need to use isopropyl alochol and a spudger since they designed them with a top plate, then you can get to the screws and disassemble it. They shitified the process just enough to make it a slight hassle having to replace those drifting marvel thumbsticks.

the original switch was only barely as strong as an iPad but they made it work, it has tons of ports that while mostly inferior you can now play just about any game released in the past 40 years on it. if you want good graphics go blow $4000 on an RTX 5090 super ultra nyidia card. nintendo stopped giving a shit about strong hardware after the N64 but they also forgot they have to care about making a console that has fun games on it with the Wii U. devs finally came back when they stopped being retarded. launching the switch 2 this early with nogaems because of tariff scares will probably hurt them in the long run, not quite as bad as sega surprise dropping the saturn but still not good.
