"OH BOY, I CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY THIS AGAIN EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A GAMECUBE AND THE ORIGINAL GAME!"

Sweet can't wait to... oh hold on, I can already play it now on Dolphin with more bells and whistles. Never mind.
It's just so embarrassing. I'll probably pick up silksong to see what the fuss is about, and I'll definitely skip "Nigger up all of the pantheon" Hades. My fatigue levels for the shitskinning of White culture has long since gone critical. May the devs be enriched by islamic blades.

It's been 7 fucking years since we've got this, fwiw

It's a bit of a downgraded port though. The 3ds can't handle textures as high-res as the gamecube, so it's little more blurry. But I remember seeing copies of this on the shelves of stores for years. Nintendo's late 3ds releases were really weird. So many ports of games that'd be better suited on the switch(Kirby epic yarn, M&L bowser's inside story, Luigi Mansion) than a last gen handheld.

The problem is you don't even own NSO copies. Nintendo addressed complaints of having to repurchase Virtual Console titles in the most anti-consumer way possible. Now they're selling a $100 plastic shell to slide a Switch into so you can rent a fraction of the Virtual Boy library. The penny pinching over games released 30 years ago is absurd.

Funnily enough, they renewed the trademark for the Virtual Console recently. You just know they're still not going to give you the option to purchase any of these games. It's better for them to be paid monthly via a subscription than only once per game.

"Paying more to own nothing"... why do I see the mental image of Klaus "der juden swine" Schwab cumming in his circumcised pants to that?

The subscription (rent forever) model, and its consequences, has been a disaster for consumers.

I don’t know who’s worse. The clowns who failed to boycott Hogwarts Legacy or the clowns that failed to boycott Assassins Creed: Shadows.
Wasn't Shadows successfully boycotted? Isn't that why they hesitated to release actual sales numbers? I even remember there was someone who quit.
Yeah, when a company hides behind largely meaningless cope numbers and adamantly refuses to give actual sales figures, even as investors openly demand them, while firing most of the employees and selling off chunks of their business while the actual release quietly fades into obscurity, I'd call that a flop.

Was there even a large-scale call to boycott Shadows? I just figured not as many people bought it as much as previous AC's because it looked like it sucked and Ubisoft kept shooting themselves in the foot with the marketing and delays.
