He was also heavily involved with Ocarina of Time, even if Miyamoto was still involved at that point.

People are generally pretty fond of Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and, like it or not, BOTW.

Takashi Tezuka was heavily involved in the original, LTTP and Link's Awakening . He was barely involved with Zelda II and it's shit.

I think Miyamoto tends to come up with the overall direction, character design and gimmicks, but the nuts and bolts of the games like level design and physics and sound and stuff was usually done by others.

Big hints that the King’s fat ass will be DLC for Mario Kart World showcased in an ad at the Game Awards next week. I hope he is bigger than Bowser.

Only a couple hours in, but Prime 4 is good.

Great sound/music, great graphics, great controls. I've always liked pointer more than twin stick, and these are some of the best pointer controls (after you get it dialed in to your liking) that I've seen in any game. Mouse style is ok too and cool to try out, but pointer wins out for me. Linear layouts, but that's just Prime games in general really. Boss fights good. Environments good. Overall just a solid game IMO so far.

If you liked the first 3 games, you'll likely enjoy this one. If you didn't, you probably won't.
 
i am very amused by “MP4 is WESTERN developed shit” all the grifters are parroting as if MP was developed by western devs with western sensibilities from the start and that’s what made it sell.

I how this is the case. Imagine an entire DK inspired map added to MKW? Tracked based on the new layers from Bananza and a track inspired by previous DKC games- not jungle ones. Like, what if they have a Bramble Blast track, or Grassland Groove? How about a track from Diddy Kong Racing as a retro addition? This game has the potential to be massive if they would just dedicate consistent years worth of updates.

Metroid is yet another disappointment. So the entire 2025 line up consists of mainly failures with the only two decent games being DK which is accused of being a baby game, and Kirby racing game.

Next year seems will have Troon Crossing and Blacked Emblem. Probably yet another Mario platforming game

DK would be more tolerable and "mature" if there was just some way to make whatsherface shut up. I don't know why Nintendo thinks they need to add more yapping to their games. Talking Flower > DKB+Pauline > Prime 4. I hope the idiots at big N figure it out soon but I have no hope of that.

Idk, Nintendo has been on a bit of a downward spiral ever since the WiiU hit the shelves and it's been bleeding into most of their brands.

The flower is whatever, but I liked Pauline in Bananza. Myles or whatever his name is in Prime 4 is another case entirely.

Origami King was a step in the right direction, but as it's still the best of the "dark" era of Paper Mario that's kind of damning it with faint praise.

Just rewind the clock back to TTYD, nuke any of the DEI shit, and make a new set of enemies that are actually entertaining instead of just using Bowser's pack of angry retards.

My gba SP did that with my pokemon gameboy color copy of silver back in the day and ONLY with that one game. I have no clue how or why it did it but it was surreal because the data would sometimes be back if I put it in my older gameboy models it was just that one that wiped the data when it was played on it.

I'm just hoping with the 'remaster' of TTYD, the remaster of super mario RPG will put us on track for a good paper mario game.
