You're acting like there's any reason to give kids an option to be gay in a game like this other than normalizing it so they can be preyed on. This is quite literally grooming.

Men playing as women in video games is a tale as old as time, men pretending to be a nu-human in games is too new for me to think they're doing it for a reason other than identity politics reasons.

To be fair, when they wrote Birdo as a gender confused in 1988 I think they saw it as nothing more than a strange fantasy character that couldn't exist in real life. I do not think the Nintendo devs were thinking about or knew real dick choppers existed. Vivian from TTYD is more of a result of bad modern revisionist interpretation of the original while the Magypsies in Mother 3..., Yeah you have a point with that one.

For Vivian, the original Japanese text said “she looks like a girl, but she is actually a boy”.

If they used that language nowadays the trannies would be sending death threats to Nintendo.

Third Party Direct is definitely underwhelming...

At best, maybe we will get some cool 3rd parties out of it, but, meh...

I feel like a problem I have is that the games I would want Switch 2 versions of already released on Switch 1, so its unlikely we will get upgraded versions.

Batman Arkham would have been a stellar showcase for the console, but is relegated to a shit-state, at least for Arkham Knight.

Nier is another I would have loved to see updated. We still don't have Replicant, so that could be a drop, but getting upgraded Automata would be nice.

If I am to go bold, would be the best case if PlayStation continues to drop IP onto Switch like they already have with Patapon and Everybody Golf. Obviously my picks would be the platformer boys: Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, and Sly Cooper.

The Switch is basically a best-of collection of 7th gen and prior, so anything to add to that is all I look for.
 
Have people still not learned from every time this has happened that there's almost always an actual direct a couple weeks after a partner direct? Either way, a switch 2 era partner direct already holds more weight than a switch 1 era partner direct, hell, if all they do is show off more info about duskbloods, it'll be a bigger deal than most of the switch 1 partner directs. Personally, I just want more monster hunter stories 3 info.

Nice to know that even games that wouldn't be technologically inferior on Nintendo hardware will be made content inferior due to retarded arbitrary censorship. Zero reason to buy this fucking hunk of junk.

They got caught in a really obvious and dumb lie and already backpedaled, you don't have to defend literally every single person that says "nintendo bad!". Even IF any word of that were true, hiding the censorship until after the game launched and only announcing it via a random discord server is 100% on them. The actual thing that happened is that they were lazy fucks who didn't want to have to submit the game for certification twice due to needing censorship in the Japanese version, so they put out the Japanese version globally, and expected it to all blow over.
