"Genderbending" in East-Asia always seem like the people who do it want to pass. In the West it always seems like they want to be grotesque.

By chance are you referring to Sachiko Ishikawa of Unseen Japan? I think it's her because she grew up in Barcelona and is only half-Japanese by blood. Her and her American husband have been a bit of a laughing stock for a while now, in fact I think the husband was even mocked on Japanese TV for complaining about Uzaki-chan back when she was just a mascot for a blood drive.

Speaking of Japanese lolcow, does 淫夢厨 (Inmu Community) counts? For those who don't know, Inmu refers to memes taken from Japanese gay porn. The name itself came from a series of gay porn titled 真夏の夜の淫夢 (Manatsu no Yo no Inmu/Midsummer's Night Lewd Dream), in which Japanese baseball player, Tadano Kazuhito starred as one of the actor while he was in college. It became a scandal in mid 2000's, but it's not until 2010's that the videos became source of memes because of the questionable dialogues, absurd plot, and bad actings. Since then, any memeable gay porn were called Inmu, even if it's not the part of the aforementioned series.
One actor in particular, stands out and became somewhat the mascot of Inmu. He's called 野獣先輩 (Yajuu Senpai, lit. Beastly Senior).
The community then celebrate the 10th of August as 野獣の日 (Yajuu no Hi/Day of Yajuu). Why that particular date? Because in Japanese, 8 and 10 can be pronounced as Ya and Juu respetively. On that day they gather at the house where some of the porn were taken, including ones starring Yajuu Senpai, and do some shenanigans. They still doing this even after the house got demolished. Around April, he resumes his activities. He immediately made some posts on 2ch, but he did not know that 2ch was split into 2 different websites while he was in prison

On February 24, when the Kounan police came to evacuate the area for the death threats, Iwama's mother(yes he lived with his mother for long time) said, "I'm going to cut off the Internet"

And wrote in the comments section of the video, "On February 20, my mother promised the police that she would cancel her Internet plan in March, and she said that she signed an agreement with the police that I will be sent to a mental hospital if I used the Internet ever again"
On September 19, the situation changed with the passing of Iwama's mother, and on October 18, when he re-signed up for the Internet, he released the videos he had been filming during his hiatus. The first video, in which his mother died, astonished viewers.
In other videos, he also claimed that animals such as cats and pigeons, as well as natural phenomena such as typhoons and rain, were victims of gangstalking, and it turned out that his paranoia was getting worse

Jap schizos call it 集団ストーカー(syuudan sto-ka-)
Basically the same meaning as gangstalking(they're not fluent enough to understand progressive form of English)

Any idea why was he denied welfare? Being schizo with multiple hospital stays and with no electricity or running water seems like a good candidate for help. Was it his criminal history?

Many people with mental illness can't get welfare because they don't believe that they're sicko

I've noticed a lot of Japanese instances on Mastodon are super closed off and don't like us gaijin requesting to join their instances, not to mention most of them defederate from western instances entirely. As much as I wanna be allowed to encounter weirdos a continent and an ocean away, we're just gonna have to make do with Japanese imageboards, niconico and this thread as it gets continually updated.as for japanese cows i see a lot of japanese weirdos on the fediverse and also a lot of japanese memes i don't understand. we should do an internet culture exchange

From 0:00 to 5:10, the girl is discussing and sort of warning (other Vietnamese) about buying house in Japan. She discussed some points on house buying customs, misconceptions, what to look out for and avoid bad deals. She said she is living in Iwakura area where there are also other Vietnamese as well.
From 5:20 onward, she started talking about her house being near an ông già (equivalent to おじさん) who the local police told her that he has mental problem, most likely Iwaman himself. The current house was sold to her by another Vietnamese who previously occupied it with Iwaman being the reason for it, though masked it as "an extremely noisy neighbor" to sell the house more easily.
She then told that she was harassed by him in the last 6 months. She then go on another tangent about blaming the guy selling her the house and blaming herself for hastily buying house in Japan with all of her savings, thinking having a house in Japan will make her life better (fun fact: it doesn't). They footed 500万円 to get the house.
She started crying at 11:50 and then told a story where 3 days after her family has moved in, Iwaman came over and threaten them(?) and throw rocks at toilet and kitchen's windows. Her whole family including the children are scared and told that they haven't experienced anything like this before.
From here she admits that both her and her husband doesn't know any Japanese. They have to rely on the house salesman to translate stuff for them that she later contacted. The salesman said that the local police told him it's the first time Iwaman ever did something like this and promised to prevent future incidents (also fun fact: they don't do shit). The salesman tried to calm her family down and assure that the police will do something about it. Later when her sisters who can speak Japanese talked to the police about Iwaman keep harassing their family few days later, the police told her that Iwaman is a known schizo in the area and recommended that they move somewhere else. She then revealed to them that her family indeed has purchased the house. The police is completely baffled and asked if previous owner disclosed that information. She confirmed that the seller (and by extension the salesman who introduced her to them) that no, they did not disclose that info.
After that, the harassing and property destruction incidents keep happening. The police did fuck all because Iwaman have no money and arresting him would be a waste of time since they told her that he was in custody 7 times. She and her husband tried to contact the home salesman to get a different house but the only choice is a really old house 20 to 30 kilometers away for the same price. At one point when they call the salesman he tried to weasel out of it by tell them he is no longer working with the home selling company. They keep telling him to ask for anyone in the company to help them but nothing came out of that.
One incident stood out to her was at night around 8:30 PM when her and another person in the family was talking outside of the house, Iwaman was just coming back from a convenient shop or supermarket on a bicycle, saw them standing outside like that, have a frown on his face and then grabbed a shovel and throw it down the road to make threatening noises. Later then grabbed a rock nearby and throw it at the couple. It missed them but hit their car's windows and they have to pay for repair.
Again, the police did nothing. They can't tell Iwaman to pay up the damage because he has no money and the family cannot sue him because having mental disability means that suing him would end up with them losing far more than he does. The home selling company told the family to sue him and gradually ghosted them as well.
She later describes Iwaman's daily routine at 30:00. By day, he's inside the house. By night around 2 or 3 AM, he goes out to buy beers and sake to get drunk then use a hammer to bang on their house's door and make noises. Pile of trash and glass bottles littered outside of his house every single day.
