And said Tumblr is now Twitter. In fact, I think it’s been Twitter for a good while before Tumblr’s current debacle.

There’s something about being limited to ~250 characters per post that makes people’s brands of crazy much more extreme, which I’d wager is also what breeds behaviors such as getting mad at a fucking transman for not being *~considerate~* enough of transtrender body attitudes.

I bet if someone actually referred to her as 'he' she wouldn't like it. I know an enby whose tumblr previously said 'all pronouns are fine'...I referred to her with male pronouns in an ask...now her tumblr says 'they/them'.

Why do they all wear so much makeup? Most straight girls I know don't wear that much on a daily basis.

They pick that absolute tackiest makeup colors too,like the coral blue, green and black lipsticks and eyeshadows. We get it, you're edgy and fuck society or whatever. Looks even worse when they have no idea how to apply it

They're going through a "not like those stuped slutty cis Stacies" phase except they'll (hopefully) realize that they've fucked up their body with hormones beyond fixing when they hit 30. Can't wait to see that shitstorm.

I respect someone who doesn't want to identify as either gender, but things like "voidgender" and "kingender" and the whole neopronoun fiasco are categorically insane. Not to mention that they've been pulled out of a teenager's ass with no sort of education or authority on the subject.

When it comes down to it, they’re not fundamentally different as far as I’m concerned. It just depends on what “scholars” people decide to take seriously, and activists push the line as far as they possibly can while still claiming they’re not anti-science.

There's a distinction between a "scholar" and an idiotic 15 year old because at least the scholars are recognized as such. __genders/neopronouns don't have anyone vouching for them other than Tumblr teens.

The line of reasoning used to justify the gender nonsense stems from academia, specifically social science and the activist disciplines. As in, “gender is a social construct in no way related to what parts you have, therefore my gender can be whatever I decide it is”.

I want to know who started this whole stupid thing, I mean really, what do you get out of "I use they/xie/hir" pronouns vs. someone referring to you as a man or a woman? How is just gender a "Social construct," but some say sex is not? I really want to know the reasoning behind all of this, I have never encountered anyone that can explain this stuff. (I'm sure it's because there's no explanation other than attention and :autism: though.)
