Helldivers 2 still has a shot if the patch on Thursday rights the ship. Big hopes since the CEO stepped down to fix the mess from the devs/balance crew/community managers.

I have faith in Obsidian to make a good game, so I have always had a side-eye on it, no matter how dated its graphics look. And hey, I'm one of those people that rarely cares about graphics anyway.

After outer worlds, I am cautious. The writing in that game was fucking abysmal. I haven't played Pentiment yet, but from what I understand that was Sawyers passion project. Wonder how much input he has on Avowed.

Well, it came out two years ago so it's had to have had some.

Pentiment is great I'm not done with it yet but it might be their best game since Tyranny. Really well written, right up there with the best video game stores ever in my opinion. I hope they get out of this first person fad soon and make more smaller scale games because that's what it seems they are the best at.

No one is talking about how '83 is BACK FROM THE GODDAMN DEAD...
And its trailer makes it look like a Rising Storm 2 mod.
(Granted its an alpha so its a step in the right direction)
