The internet is a pretty big factor though.
I just want to point out that pokemon was never age-appropriate for Chris. He was born in 1982. It hit in, what, 1997? He would have been in his mid-teens playing a game for babies.CWC's trainwreck of a life is a "perfect storm" of factors like:

I guess that's where the autism factors in, as a group they're pretty infamous for having age inapproriate interests.I just want to point out that pokemon was never age-appropriate for Chris. He was born in 1982. It hit in, what, 1997? He would have been in his mid-teens playing a game for babies.
I dunno, if you look at social media or what counts as news these days maybe the idea shouldn't be discounted!Yeah, I heard that one too. Makes you really autistic over time!
That's why hardly anyone uses it on a regular basis nowadays.
Hurry up! We need to call Hitler! You're Jewish.

Don't forget stories of him fighting with kids because he lost. If Chris were in a group home, they might let him collect a few cards, but overall, they would have stopped all that garbage. It's only gotten worse, without taking the culture Bronycon into account, we now have Chris also dressing up like an Alicorn Sailor Neptune princes.... When in reality, he was hopping around at Bronycon on his knees looking like a hybrid between an Oompa Loompa and Peppa Pig's father. Also, just like he doesn't understand Pokemon games, I doubt he understands or heeds the messages of MLP either.Chronologically yes, Mentally I'd say yes it was appropriate for him but it was Bob an Barb letting him do it in public was the issue like taking him to the gamestore as a man in his 20's dressed as Ash to play Pokemon with young kids when he could barely play it himself.

Or they screw up potentially new friendships with people by trying to suck face with strangers like Chris did at TMG.I always found it kind of amusing that bronies worship a show about friendship and have no friends.

@Jaiman has friends...The brony fandom was ironically predicated on forcing everyone to accept everyone else in the fandom as friends to give everyone the illusion they have friends.
Yeah, Chris and bad dragon products.@Jaiman has friends...
Chris, after enough time, might think @Jaiman was a figment of his imagination like his ponies and chus, and then deny it and claim he's realYeah, Chris and bad dragon products.
lol its like the seinfeld episode of where kramer joins the mcdojo and fights the little kids.Don't forget stories of him fighting with kids because he lost. I never said that. I said it was never age appropriate.I don't see how that's relevant. I worked with a man who in his late 20s in 1998/9 became insanely enamoured of Tamogotchis (Dock n' rock man!!) among other strange things to the point he'd drive us crazy with the shit. This man went on to form a media company he sold for about 10 million to Sony, and went to Capcom in some kind of senior producer role on Street Fighter IV then infact became a VP of Sony Japan. You've probably seen him on more then one E3 presentation over the years. Not even sure what the fuck he does now, except that he has had more success and made more money then you or I will ever likely see in our lifetimes.
Games for babies does not equal tards.
