Null's Gambit - My attempt at getting Chris to talk openly

I both like and hate that option.
Hate because that's a resource for battered wives and rape victims. Not an adult male in his 30s that chooses to believe Jesus kidnapped his cartoon wife.
It's more than battering and rape victims. If nothing else, it might get Chris a direction to view this as a serious matter and get on-board. Plus, it involves 3 things he likes: UVA, being in a women-space, and having an audience to listen to him.
While we may view Chris as male, in law he's treated as female.

As for the cartoon wife, well, that's for the therapist to sort out. (yeah, i know. good luck with that.)

Nah I get it, I'm not even saying its a bad idea. Shit I nearly suggested contacting friggin Inside Edition as an option.

I'm just saying, while I'm sure they don't exclusive deal in rape and abuse cases, we know that that's what they're there for. So him using it because "I Want My Money! WITH INTEREST!" just seems so.. perverse.

In sashays Chris.. Baseball bat on his back, fucking gold tiara on his head, not a care in the world. He does a quick scan for cuties and plops down next to one. "Hmm.. Are you done with dat Cosmo, dear?".

I wonder if Chris keeps a secret slush account for "extra" money. Six grand would be a hell of a noticeable dent, and it wasn't spread out over that long of a period. Four months? Maybe less?

It's said that barb watches Chris's money like vulture, I can't believe she wouldn't do anything if she knew.
He probably raised most of it through his business. Like, in April, he had revenue of $4,284 + however much @The Captain paid for the ring, and I don't know how aware Barb is of his business income.

On the other hand, Chris had been having trouble scrounging up the money for the mortgage... the receipts Null posted shows Chris sending gift cards around mid-April, and Barb had appeared in begging videos in early April and early May asking for help to pay the mortgage. So he might've told Barb something to explain why they were short on money... but she probably would've found it incomprehensible and assumed he spent it on video games or something.

God that's right, April was a hot month for him. If I recall, we calculated that he made over $2,400 in one week alone.

April fucking fools.

I'd like to see the therapist's reaction should Chris tell them about the time he sliced open his taint to let his vagina grow out.

His therapist likely wouldn't even be phased, stuff like that isn't all that unusual, in fact in psychology there's even a defined term for it... "magical thinking". It's like a nice way of saying delusion, but delusion fueled more by ignorance and stupidity rather than a direct mental problem.

Like when Florida awhile back got the bright idea to stop teaching kids sex education, which in turn led to sky rocketing teen pregnancy when it became an urban legend that you could prevent pregnancy by drinking Mt. Dew and all manner of other reeetardation.

Stuff like that you can usually "fix" just by educating people, or if they're especially stubborn by logically talking them through it, essentially holding their hand so they can "discover" why it doesn't make any sense, that way they don't feel like you're talking down to them.

...and then if that doesn't work you can generally label them as outright schizophrenic.

There is nothing that would prevent a doctor/therapist from reading a letter sent to him/her from a third party concerning a patient, and then he/she could decide whether to take it seriously and/or act on it.
That's not what I was referring to. In cases where there are multiple professionals working together from different places, you need to sign a release for a therapist to talk to a primary care physician. Even for therapists and psychiatrists (which usually are separate for the most part), they still need legal permission. A healthcare professional couldn't contact the person who wrote the letter unless - I'm assuming - it was for judicial reasons in court. You could have someone say to you that they see the same doctor or therapist as you, but if you bring it up to the professional, they will always respond that they can't confirm or deny that. Even if you see them in the waiting room or at the building. Hell, even parents can't call up universities to find out their kid's grades once they're adults.

The only time HIPPA is allowed to be legally broken is if you're believed to be a danger to yourself or others. Or - if a mandatory reporter gets wind of some type of abuse. Otherwise, you have to sign a release.

A proxy would be Chris's best bet where a professional could communicate treatment plans or possible diagnoses, but there is nobody who could be trusted with his life like that. And Chris himself couldn't be counted on to even sign off on a legal proxy out of hubris.

Chris got $200 for the ring. Shipping and PayPal also got their cut from that.

I'm not sure about any kind of "slush fund" his mother may have, but based off of her past spending habits and from what Chris has stated - nothing.

She's going to go to the grave broke.

Chris would have the slush fund, not Barb. All those transactions to the Wise Guys would've made onto some sort of billing statement. Especially since it was all digital. I'm sure Chris can intercept the mail, but what the hell does Barb have to think about BUT money.

Not to mention, barb does seem to have two checking accounts herself. She said as much in one video where she wanted Chris to buy dog food "don't use this debit card, use the other one.."

Bob taught Chris how to save money, Barb taught Chris how to waste it.

Hold the phone for just one second here...Chris is making thousands of dollars per month not even including the:tugboat:? Is this typical or was April a fluke?
April was a fluke - he put a ton of stuff up for sale that month, plus that's when @Jack Z gave him $1,200. He usually nets a little over $1,000 or so per month.

R-reality Stone?

Holy shit, Chris actually thinks this shit is real. After all the horrible lies Josh threw at him?

Null is going out of his goddamn way to help this poor autist of a man, and the man babbles on about class rings and coloring paper.
