DMZ ♀ Official Kiwi Farms Man-Hate Thread

This thread is a DMZ (De-Moidified Zone) and is strictly for women. Men and trannies (men) shitting up the thread will be removed from the entire Lolcow Salon for a month.
I want to ask a legitimate good faith question to the resident boxhavers of this site (it's probably the only place on the Internet I'll get genuine interesting answers):

What are your thoughts on gay men? There is currently one attempting to seduce me in the Woman Hate Thread that has only convinced me to support this thread's existence unconditionally.
There is currently a fatwa against the two gender-hate threads farming each other for content so please don't do this again, but to answer your question, just search for 'faggot' in 'This thread only' and see what comes up.

just don't think she should be people's go-to for female representation on film.
The idea that we all need representation on film and media is a fairly recent one, and not IMO a positive one. It’s how we’ve ended up with so much utter dreck that’s just poorly written self inserts.
I watched The Terror and thought it was very good. If there were women in there they weren’t in screen for long. I don’t need there to be ‘someone like me’ shoehorned into every bit of media. Sometimes a piece is about men battling the Arctic. There used to be more ‘appealing to the deeper human condition’ but now it’s ’must Have a sassy Latinx female’ and media is poorer for it. I don’t understand why people want to see an exact replica of themselves on screen rather than identify more with a struggle, a journey or a situation. It’s a lack of imagination in the general public and it feeds The Machine and its IDpol

Is this thread titled Straight Man Hating Thread? When we mean men we mean men of all sexual orientations. We are equal-opportunity misandrists.

I’m tired of gay men thinking that women who dislike men means they get a free pass because of the existence of fag hags. Homosexuals are just as predatory as straights, even if it’s not usually directed at women.
A lot of them act like they get a pass and are One of the Girls just because they're feminine and like dick. And for the endless shit some of them talk about troons, a lot of them have the same Keffals mentality of "It isn't about being women, it's about being better than them"

I don’t need there to be ‘someone like me’ shoehorned into every bit of media.
We don't need it but sure wish I'd see more movies with minimal male involvement. I'm tired of watching shit with rape scenes, unnecessary sex scenes added by pornsick directors with foot fetishes and random generic pregnancy plots for every female character that has fulfilled their purpose of being a plot point for a man.

Idk about you but kid me definitely got frustrated with most fiction being a sausage fest and there being so few female action heroes

well you already talk like a fag so you may as well go ahead and start gargling balls. you can also use the search function to see other thoughts, this thread has previously thoroughly discussed the goid menace.

One of my favorite characters is Elaine Benes. They claim she was originally a male character, but her hilarious delivery of seething hostility is something I've only ever seen women pull off in a genuinely funny manner.

That one sentence contains enough fissile material to keep the boys seething for weeks. Remember: this is the gender that gets buttmad and upset about video games they don't play and TV shows they don't watch.

i have a story

i have a friend who called me in tears because she learned she was 5 weeks pregnant and she has no intention or desire to have kids and she's terrified. inb4 'did she use protection?' idk, it's not my place to ask.

anyway, the reason she called me was because she didn't want her family to know and also because her scrote, her sperm-donor, was being a gross moid about the whole thing, and no, he's not interested in having kids, either.

- "so can we still fuck after you take the pills?"
- various creampie-related jokes
- "guess you're eating for two now"

just really moidy gross comments like that with zero regard for her well-being. she's complaining about how her breasts are sore and her scrote makes some crude sexual comment about it.

she did tell me that she bought the PILLS MELANGE online from a reputable company so those should be coming within the next few days. she's lucky she caught it early and lives in a state where women still have rights.

I loved The Terror and thought it mostly did right by its female characters. Lady Jane Franklin was a badass who gave no fucks about men telling her what to do and I felt like the show did a good job of communicating that. It wasn't perfect with the other two women in the story, but I still think it generally handled them better than the book did.

You have women more willing to fantasize about fucking Morgott from Elden Ring, and he's literally dressed like a bum. It's his personality and charisma that wins women over, something moids forget. The plumber can get his tradwife if he actually brings something to the table, vs believing he's owed sex because he works a trade.
This community unfortunately mostly seems to attract extremely generic guys with few redeemable qualities.

I really hate the slang words men have for vaginas and vulvas. The words they use convey their disgust, either by being profane ('cunt' 'rb flaps', 'beaver', 'gash') or bizzarely euphemistic ('box', 'slit', 'love tunnel', 'wizard's sleeve'), like they're afraid to even speak of the pussy.

idk, makes it easier to determine who is and is not a complete piece of garbage.

call a woman you know a 'hole' in real life, see how that goes for you.

Sounds like a breakup with her scrote is in order.

She definitely is lucky the scrote being gross is the worst she has to deal with in that situation.

Okay, people like this haven’t actually looked at historical images from the 1940s if they think every guy from that era looked like a bodybuilder.

edit so as not to double-post: going back to Anna Slatz's tweet where she says 'The result is men resenting the imperfections and needs of natural women while associating femininity with these shallow, standardised aesthetics.' When do men not do that?
the whole standardised femininity aesthetic can equally apply to ancient greece with their hairless statues, and also their fetishised boyfucking. It's a cycle over and over again of valuing the artificial versus the natural and we're in the shit part if you're not willing to artificially transform yourself. When natural is prioritised it's probably shit for women who hate their natural appearance.

I think this comes up a lot in porn debates, even from women who consider themselves anti-porn. Porn today is terrible, I love the artwork of Vargas that really has personality and spirit and blah blah blah. Yes it's better than today but it was worse than the day before it. We would never have got here if we hadn't gone there first; every fetishised aesthetic from the past that sexualised women but now seems both intentional yet chaste by comparison, like the coquette stuff currently, would have felt aggressively sexual to the 30+ women of the time. Coquette is literally just a reinvention of 60s style, which was always consciously paedophilic - Mary Quant and her husband talked about it at the time.

If every doctor on TV is male, a girl watching that is going to go "mommy can women be doctors?" because that's how 5 year olds think. Media is important, representation is important. media shapes how we think on a fundamental level. idk why people pretend otherwise

representation is important.
It’s used as a weapon. Yes media IS important because it brainwashed, and representation is weaponised. Seeing a queen of England from several hundred years ago cast as black is not ground breaking representation but a weaponised psychological war on the native population. Needing a trans black disabled lesbian enby latinx fat girl as the hero when she’s written as a Mary Sue is what makes modern media rubbish.
I don’t think I ever did ask if women could be what I am. I just went and did it. The scientists on TV were men and I never even considered a girl couldn’t do that. I was told plenty that women didn’t do that kind of thing and again, I just said ok and went and did it. The roles models were people who I thought did cool stuff. It’s very dangerous for us to say that girls can ONLY have female role models or that unless they don’t have them they will fail.
I feel like we’ve gone full circle with the sexism. Now girls are so fragile that if they don’t see themselves exactly represented they will vanish? They can’t look at a man’s work and think ‘that looks like a really interesting career, I’ll do that’ ? They can only read books and watch films that have female representation in? No ta I’ll enjoy a book for what it tells me whether that’s male or female driven plot. I do t care. It’s the same thing as people insisting that a boy who plays with dolls is actually a girl. This weird literalism. We’ve gone from ‘ boys can’t play with dolls to let kids play with whatever to if the boy plays with a doll he’s a girl chop his cock off.’ It’s barmy.

The solution to this problem is to seek out (or make) better stories about women, not decide they're too annoying to write or hard to animate to put in your book/show/game whatever. I also think representation matters; my country fought a whole war against yours about it.

What specific piece of modern media are you referring to?

It also feels pretty... lonely and alienating, for lack of better words, to be a kid and have no media with people like you for no good reason (there's no reason everything has to be a sausage fest with women as slightly more than half the human population). Especially when you get shat on for who you are, it's nice to have anything showing that it's ok to be a masculine girl or w/e.

Idk about anyone else, but as a kid I was beyond sick of everything being a sausagefest and female characters just being tokens who got the least screentime and development. It gets boring when every cartoon has a male protagonist and an entirely male cast aside from one or two token girls.

Tokenism sucks, but it doesn't mean we should stop having any characters that aren't straight white dudes.

reductio ad absurdum.
Representation =/= a pile of trendy attributes thrown in a meat grinder and formed into a Mary Sue self-insert.

There isn't one, she's kind of mentally compiling a worst case scenario. Which I guess is the Queen being a Black person, because that is "psychological war[fare]" against English people.
Well, now I know how to get her goat :)

C5 series on Anne Boleyn. Cast her as black. That is grotesquely offensive. Imagine if there was a biopic of Nelson Mandela with a white bloke cast.

There isn't one
Channel five, the series is called Anne Boleyn and the actress is Jodie Turner Smith.
