You might've missed it, but I said a few times I work in a hospital which is like 85% female staffed. That's the main part of my job, cause I also (thank you God) get to leave to work with recovering athletes some daily. The amount of scheming and deviousness I witnessed could fill tomes and tomes and if I wrote them, it would triple the amount of misogyny on the planet.
During the pandemic we (mostly, until shit hit the fan) got a comfy tiny room where we stood in isolation almost all the time and rarely exited when there was a true need to see a patient. It was the calmest, most tranquil, most blessed time I spent in that hospital, even with wearing PPE for 8 hrs/day, sometimes in August's heatwave. Sadly, it all went away and I'm back to the estrogen daily bath.
