Got some really bad news about men and cats: Muslim men fucking LOVE cats. They will treat their women like actual dirt, but a stray cat lying on the street is walked around (never over) even if it means walking in the street, and fed regularly. Cats are regarded with reverence.

Cats are even allowed to wander into mosques, including the nice male section at the front. Women are relegated to shitty sections (invariably with depressing worn carpet) at the side or far back.

Dogs, to Muslims, are much like women: dirty, impure, and not to be allowed anywhere nice.

I don't like cats for reasons, but the Arab love for them doesn't help.

This is so strange, because I always figured the whole cats = women dogs = men symbolic associations were culturally universal.

I know a guy who's single in his 40s (he has a decent job and looks good, but is too emotionally constipated and avoidant for any women to tolerate him now afaik) who owns 5 cats. Most people find that fact kind of charming, and so do I honestly, but it's pretty nuts how the double standard seems to miss everyone.

I used to be really into j-pop as a small child, particularly bands from the Hello Project music label. My favourite group from them was C-ute and when they first started out the youngest member was 5 and the eldest was like 15.

But when I’d watch 240p fan cams of Hello Project girl bands on YouTube circa 2005, I noticed that pretty much the entire audience was creepy grown men. I figured out pretty early on that the strict rules on the idols behaviour wasn’t actually to make sure they were child friendly role models, and in fact because they sell more records when said creepy men think they have a shot with them.

Years ago, Sammy Yatim had a psychotic episode and terrorized people on a transit bus. He held a pregnant woman at knifepoint and said he was going to cut her throat. This was all caught on audio. The cop arrived, tasered him. He didn't go down. Tasered him again. Didn't go down. Eventually he took out his gun and shot him nine times. Sammy's mother pulled a Dindu Nuffin and tried to sue the city polite department. Audio of the crime wasn't released until YEARS afterward. He got off easy.

Don't forget the Greyhound bus attack. That shit is almost Mexican cartel tier. Schizophrenic Asian gets on a Greyhound bus. Starts attacking a guy listening to music. Ends up gouging out his eyes and eating one, and even takes out his heart. In public. With dozens of witnesses. The RCMP officer sent to investigate was so traumatized he committed suicide.
