I find the mutual hatred between men and women of the current age extremely fascinating. I think it’s a practical application of the adage “familiarity breeds contempt.” For the first time in history, men and women are finally learning how the opposite gender really thinks.

It’s incredibly disillusioning for women to realize what a central role sex plays in a man’s psyche. A man can build his whole personality around his sexual preferences and this concept is rightfully alien to you. You can see the disillusionment from the other side as well: for the first time in history, women could have more-or-less consequence-free casual sex with men and my gender is shocked and horrified that women wouldn’t use this freedom like we’d use this freedom. (I know they like to throw the term “whore” around in the incel thread but “whore” usually means “she has sex with other men but not with meeee.”)

I think most people desire a return to traditional gender roles because they helped us delude ourselves about what is really going on in the head of our partner. Women can project a loving, selfless nobility onto their man, but he is really only committed to the relationship for access to sex and doesn’t cheat or abandon his children because of the social consequences. Men can project their perverted thinking onto their wife and both sides were able to maintain relative happiness at least until the kids were raised and the cycle could repeat itself. IDK if you’ve noticed this in your life but most grandparent couples hate each other. They just maintain a façade when the grandkids come to visit.

What do the ladies here think of Greta Thuneberg and the way internet people talk about her? There's something about her that seems to draw out the worst in conservative men who already get triggered by environmentalism - elaborate rape and murder fantasies were being posted about her on Reddit when she was still a minor, and today the language used seems less heated to me mostly because automated filtering on most social media can zap posts with terms like "stupid cunt" pretty easily. I never see that kind of anger directed at individual male activists when they wind up in the news.

It's true that it's a less complex chromosome, but that's because the X contains all the blueprints that make us human, and the Y is the slapped-on patch that's only job is to say "make this one an inseminator instead of the default model".
