This is literally how sex offender registries were designed to work. Registration is the 21st century equivalent of the leper’s bell. You are a danger to society, and everyone has the right to know that you are one so you can be hounded out of jobs, communities, families, anywhere else you would try to win trust and then abuse it to rape people. You go on a register so that you can be easily bullied and harassed by normal members of society. Fortunately, there is an easy way to escape this serious predicament: don’t put your penis in anyone except a consenting human adult. Most adults find this rule easy to obey.

Forgot which one of you fatties told men to stop giving shitty advice when you just want to vent your feeling, but that legit changed my life. A lot of situations that led to Frustration are gone now and it actually feels like i understand wtf is going on now when we sit down and talk stuff out.

Male or female, I always ask if the person wants to vent or wants advice. I'm a verbal processor myself so I usually just want to vent but there are times I am seeking advice. Glad communication with your partner has improved.

Yeah, it cannot be understated just how useful that is. I honestly can't even remember the last time I've even had to ask that because pretty soon after I discovered it and started using it my wife started leading with "I want your advice on this" or "I just want to vent about this."

"Personality disorder" is in many ways just a way of classifying and identifying particular common types of exceptionally shitty people. However, it is also a matter of a completely different orientation toward the world. The difference between being average-shitty and personality disorder-shitty is a matter of intransigence and dusconnect. Narcs, for example, rarely stop behaving like narcs, because - specifically due to their disordered personal/ world view - they dgaf that they wreak havoc and ruin lives as a matter of course; all is warranted bc it gets them their strokes - and the strokes are the Alpha and the omega, which is not like normal people. If you don't have the normal ability to recognize other people as human and behave accordingly, if absolutely nothing (not even your own children) matters enough for you to put them before your own interests EVER, if you you know you are a destroyer and truly do not care but do care about twisting the world to you, then you are beyond merely "shitty." Lots of people behave in shitty ways from time to time without having a "disorder." Those people may adapt situationally, or reach a point where they stop acting like a shit. But if you've ever truly talked to (again for example) a narcissist, they do not have a normal orientation towards others/humanity in general. It's not just, "yeah, that's shitty but I don't care"; it's "I don't know what that [normal consideration] means and more importantly how can I dispatch you because you're just something I need to get out of my way." It's a whole other level of shitty.

I thought personality disorders were made up until I met an actual narcissist and I thought therapy was a scam until I wanted to blow my brains out and couldn't turn to anyone irl. That said, a lot of people get classified as having a personality disorder when I really don't think they do, and a lot of people are long-time users of therapy when they really just need to make some friends and touch grass.
