What are you getting at here? When considering gender segregated spaces it’s very important to consider why this segregation occurs. You seem to understand that women need single-sex locker rooms because they’re slower, smaller, and weaker than the men who have a sometimes-aggressive sexual interest in them. You have also said that it’s important that women are given access to political power because men cannot be trusted to make the best choices for them when excluded.

But this assertion founders when you can’t come up with a good reason to seperate the sexes. For example: Orthodox Jews seperate their worship space and exclude women from the bimah (equivalent to a pulpit) because they think women are too sexually distracting to men. This same justification is used for boy’s-only schools, including scouting, dress codes focused around female clothing but not male clothing, and even as a proposed reason to keep women out of male-dominated workplaces. But being “distracted” is not a threat to male safety, whereas being in a mixed gender locker room, public toilet, a crowded subway car, or a prison that houses MtF offenders with women is a threat to female safety.

So I don’t buy this, at all, because it would either lead to absurd gender segregation (eg men and women have to use separate traffic lanes on the highway) this weird but-it’s-not-fair whataboutery. Men don’t “deserve” unisex spaces because they find women annoying or distracting, and especially not out of some exactly 50-50 rhetoric meant to appeal to men who want to exclude women unequally anyway. It’s like saying if I want my safety at the gym (yes), then I need to accept that boys “deserve” a girl-free scouting zone for undefined reasons.

ETA: also, in the cases where male distraction would be a threat to safety (his or other people’s or both) men are able to overcome distraction. A male surgeon can learn not to be sexually distracted by the female patient on whom he operates in or female staff working with him in the OR. A male pilot can learn to tolerate working with female co-pilots and flight crews even if he thinks their outfits are cute to the point of distraction, and if he can’t do that, he won’t get far in his career. A woman can’t acquire the ability to fight off a sexually aggressive man twice her size in the sauna.

The larger issue is that you’re not able to explain to me how girls in the Boy Scout system is an affront to male safety, or dignity.
