Bugchasing is part of a greater problem that is the source of a very special type of hate in my heart. People who are really unwell and have associated their pleasure with risk taking and extreme taboos will resort to extreme measures to get off. If it gets bad enough, anything goes.

The thread's covered this before, but sex (and porn) addicts continue their cycle of escalation if they have no anchor or common sense to keep them from going too far. Bugchasing is an example of this philosophy. It's the fetishization of a concept / taboo without the brain filter that helps you go 'hey maybe we shouldn't do this for real.'
