One of my favorite isekai anime is The Vision of Escaflowne—this time, it’s a girl who’s transported to another world, and they have mechas. Lots of them. I highly recommend this one; it’s a bit old and looks somewhat dated, but it still holds a special place in my heart

Back in the 90s, I made an effort to get into anime because it was what all the cool nerds were watching, and this is the only series I ever liked enough to buy on DVD. I actively avoided most mecha anime back then too, but this one isn't really about the mechs. The writing is excellent and the characters are all interesting. Vision of Escaflowne and maybe the Miyazaki movies are exceptions to Total Anime Death for me.

I think vigilantism is justified when it comes to rapists and pedos. Most go free, or get short srntences, at least in europe and asia.

The sensible thing to do, if you know the pedo or rapist, is to get to them before the law does.

I wish people would look at the legislation and sentencing guidelines instead of just the judges. 10000% judges are to blame, but even if a judge did the right thing the court of appeals would set them free. Blame politicians.

Adding onto the point though, the system is overwhelmed with the exponential rate men commit sex crimes and rather than adapt they simply accept this as a small character flaw and men to which they deserve chance after chance after chance. When women commit violent crime they are made examples of because it happens so rarely. When they commit petty crimes, because their prisons aren’t overflowing (soon will be with all the trannies) that’s where they go.
