Worst thing about the TGstation wiki aside from seeing the tons of fun stuff that has been removed because muh powagamas is that the information on there is often incorrect, outdated or just missing entirely. There are so many artifacts and things down in lavaland that don't even have a reference on the wiki, so I just have to try and figure out what the fuck they are/do by myself. For example, sometimes there are these thick-ass seemingly impervious walls that spawn in a cube. As a ghost you can see that in the middle of these walls is something called a 'wish granter'. I'd love to know what kind of things it can do, or have a hint of how to get to it but there isn't even a single mention of it in any search engine that I can find. Same with Gluttony's blessing, pride's mirror and other things I've found since I took up mining.
The cube is probably this:
The walls are /turf/closed/indestructible/riveted so the wish granter is probably unreachable without ethereal jaunt or something like that.
There really isn't any documentation on either other than the code (https://github.com/tgstation/tgstat...319221e5df/code/game/machinery/wishgranter.dm , https://github.com/tgstation/tgstat...mob/living/simple_animal/hostile/faithless.dm), some comments about "AI killing themselves and 200 faithless in a giant room" and issues about immortality from the granter being buggy (https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/issues/21392).

Yea, its fucking annoying to play chem and someone asks you for meds, you want to give it to them but the recipe provided by trannystation doesnt work or simply doesnt exist.

What about toxins? How are research bombs gonna work now with this new system?

It'd be pretty fucking useless if you make a maxcap and you just get like 4 random bullshit techs that no one wants.
In fairness; who actually still does toxins? I do it once every now and again to make sure I can still actually make boombooms. But mostly I just see people gas themselves by mistake, or use it to be a potraitor. Toxins could be like nanites; just as a producer of gimmicky stuff.

An in depth toxins overhaul could be done; but that feels like changing things for the sake of change when the main use of toxins doesn't seem to be research. Only thing that springs to mind would be reactions that are based on gas, pressure and temp; which seems fiddly as fuck to try and code and might end up accidentally making fusion or some shit when a clown opens an O2 tank.

It's still technically point based, I could have a way to boost nodes with points while in queue.

If players could manually queue up upgrades to fill the slot then that would solve it, since the tox guy could go fill the queue with what he wants and then set the bomb off.

That sounds amazing, I want this. Imagine a toxins lab full of various mixing chambers for making all kinds of weird shit.

It would be great if the wish granter worked like in the book Roadside Picnic, where it needed a human sacrifice before you could approach it.

Couple of those things are kind of intended to be "gameplay secrets" which is why no mention of what they are, how to get them, and what to do with them is documented on /tg/'s wiki.

I can tell you now that the whole Gluttony's Blessing thing is attainable by approaching it after you've stuffed so much fucking food down your throat that you become morbidly obese. Using it turns you into a Morph, IIRC, and basically makes you an Antag for the rest of the round.

Try searching for videos on what things may do what.

No
My biggest gripe with the wiki is that it was clearly written by griefers. Most of the articles focus on how to break stuff, which is all fine and good but not the most useful thing for unrobust faggots like myself.

This guy does some good videos, there are differences but he has a rundown of what a day's work starts off as before everything goes to shit. FOr every main job except virologist. He's an annoying zoomer faggot so try not to let that bother you too much though.

Is there Any way to break into lockers without the syndicate emag thing other than having the person/jobs id card?

How do I get into the mule to hack it? I was trying to enable nonstandard cargo but it kept saying that the panel was sealed or something and trying to use the torch just repaired it.

Related note don't be affraid to order stuff. Cargo Has actually been trying lately.

be round 155, be cargo. miner is dying behind electrified doors, come up with plan to use fuel tank and fire extinguisher to blow up a wall and allow paramedic to save him. blow up fuel tank, plasma is in the air, burn down entire station. not even antag.
Don't feel too bad, I saw a guy try and break into the RD's office with what looked like a TTV. Shit was hilarious.
