I actually remember the day I went to ED and instead got the fucking filler page that said something like "Something new is coming, thank you for your fealty" and just being angry and confused because I didn't use the ED forums.

I believe so, but I'm not sure. I'm not even an oldfag technically; I don't remember when I found 4chin, but I know I found ED in like 2006. I was just talking with someone the other day about how fucking strange it has been seeing what Chris-Chan has become as someone who used to laugh at Sonichu issues posted in /b/ threads. I feel like I'm a thousand fucking years old.

I started hanging out around the time people were watching that fucking postcard rack in NYC all day and night waiting for someone to knock it over also the entire Puddi Puddi meme just started. Girugamesh was still fairly funny at the time along with image macros of a bullfrog. Internet culture started getting fucking lame with the popularity of “Anonymous” and the influx of newfags on decent image boards. I used to spend a lot of time of 420chan until Kirtaner went full sperg and claimed himself king anon on Reddit. Fucking fag.

Suddenly having Vietnam flashbacks of being in high school when the Battletoads meme was new. I had some classmates who would prank call GameStop every day during lunch over and over, harassing them and asking for Battletoads. After like two weeks the employees were getting so frustrated that they were yelling over the phone and threatening to call the police. But they never did so the prank calls kept happening. Pretty sure at least one of those employees answering the phone ended up quitting shortly after.
