so pretty interesting chapter over all first things first the moira reveal has me thinking what if moira is the child of a kozuki and a korozumi it would explain his looks if anything.

also if he was trying to copy rocks plan but got the shadow fruit thinking it was the right one the whole time its possible much of the earlier chapters are filled with hints about things that will be revealed later.

that being said its interesting that rocks plan seems to revolve around him needing someone with ancient giants blood i have a feeling the drawings in elbaf are what rocks and now blackbeard are trying to emulate and that their dream of being king of the world is based on that if not encouraged by it at least.

because keep in mind one of the people in the drawings had a crown on it could be imu but at the same time maybe not. the more we learn about rocks the more i start to wonder if maybe imu really is gonna get fucked over by blackbeard in the end.

but yeah its also confirmed now that shanks and shamrock are just twin brothers which puts the clone theory to rest. the fact that he was born in god valley also makes it seem like it was actually an accident that he ended up on rogers ship i guess the new question is will shanks turn out to be evil the whole time now or will oda go more towards the being around roger and company made shanks want to be a good person route?

If we’re seeing Shanks as a baby, then I really feel like it’s a point against bring evil all along. I think Oda has a thing where he’s doing nurture over nature.

i hope thats the case. shanks being a genuinely good guy because he was raised by roger and company fits way better plus it mirrors sanjis story in a way. that being said i could also see the possibility that imu may have used his powers to switch shamrock and shanks at some point. something just tells me theres going to be more to this than we realize.
It makes perfect sense why and how Moria got Ryuuma's body and Shunshi and why he was fighting Kaido
i never actually thought about that but it all makes sense moira must have stolen ryuumas body along with shunsui before he left wano. but if thats the case i wonder why moira never tried to get hogback to bring back oden? i could see him trying to get the akazaya nine only to find their graves empty which means he was most likely forming the zombie army in an attempt to overthrow kaido thinking he was the last member of the kozuki family left alive.

Oden's body was destroyed by being boiled alive.

There’s probably something, but I really don’t think that we’re going to have some shocking thing where it’s revealed that Shanks is some great master secret agent for Imu all this time. Mainly because 1. It’d be fucking stupid, and 2. There’s no way that any of the actions of Shanks would be justified, since something as simple as “giving Luffy his hat” would be something that seems way too sincere to be just be something of “undercover agent does something to make sure his cover isn’t blown”, and 3. If Shanks had any idea of Luffy’s bigger role in the grand scheme of things like the endgame, there’s no way Imu would tolerate Shanks letting Luffy do something like reach Gear 5.

Considering that Shanks was shocked and mad that Luffy ate the fruit in the beginning it's clear he didn't plan on that happening at all. If he is some master agent that would make him a double agent for watching Luffy and keeping him alive wouldn't it?

There’s also the part where Shanks stole the fruit after the WG suppressed its value and had it where folks would go “it turns you into a rubber man, why would anyone want to steal something like that”?, which would put him now on Imu’s bad side.

Aside from that, your question feels like endgame material Oda is waiting to elaborate on because it relates to Luffy.

I said it before but there's plenty of questions that i feel Oda is waiting to answer as we are reaching the end of the line however Oda probably knows that shotgunning all these answers isn't the way to really go about it.

Shanks is definitely playing a bigger role that we are slowly getting information on. Your response is brilliant because Shanks would be one of the few people who knew the true nature of the Gum Gum fruit prior to the WG suppressing what it really was. Imu would have been seething about this but I would imagine that killing Luffy wouldn't go over so well.

Shotgunning answers? What do you mean? At most, I think it’s where the final push for the treasure will happen, before or after the final war, and then when Luffy is doing Luffy things not giving a shit, other characters will comment on things saying like “the prophecy of Joy Boy has come at last”, even though the person fulfilling said prophecy is a thick headed idiot. And then we get the long pushed back lore dump of lore dumps because that’s how Oda likes to do things.

Imu is the shadow head of a government of a government that has no issue blasting a country to nothing because they were looking into the NAME of a kingdom that was at the center of the censorship campaign that kept a whole century of history unable to be studied, and unleashed Hell to go after a child that just peeked at what the adults were doing. Imu was willing to destroy a whole kingdom with a sky beam because “it’s close by and I need a target to test this thing”. Imu is the head of the governments that allows the Celestial Dragons to operate as they do with impunity. And may have well been the person that set up that structure.

I’m more than willing to bet Imu would perfectly be cool and willing to have Luffy be killed in the Romance Dawn chapters before he got his hat just to have the fruit be returned to circulation and be retrieved by the WG and be back under Imu’s control again. Except Shanks had to tell a Sea King to get lost.

e, there’s no way Imu would tolerate Shanks letting Luffy do something like reach Gear 5.
Imu didn't really allow anything to happen, and frankly anything he could do would be a net negative.

Its not like he could send a God Knight or an Elder star to Alabasta without it being noticed.

Back to Back to Back to Back answers without spacing them out. I was thinking there are some answers that require more than just a minor lore dump and will take some extra time to answer (like Will of D or the Void Century)

Don't take me to court on this as i am being slightly facetious. I'm not expecting setting aside whole chapters to explain a single thing of course.

It would be noticed, but the real rub is that it’s the hidden machinations the WG try to keep hidden that’s the real drama. At least in regards to the Elders. It’s why it was a big deal when Smoker refused to take credit for Crocodile being defeated and tried to say it was actually Luffy and his crew.

Even without the Elders, Crocodile trying to overthrow a member state to the WG while also acting as a contractor to the WG, and then being thwarted by a third party the WG has an active criminal bounty on, would be fairly devastating to their reputation.
