Oden's body was destroyed by being boiled alive.
does his body need to be fully there though? im sure hogback could have frankensteined together some form of substitute oden body with just a few of his bones maybe.
There’s probably something, but I really don’t think that we’re going to have some shocking thing where it’s revealed that Shanks is some great master secret agent for Imu all this time. Mainly because 1. It’d be fucking stupid, and 2. There’s no way that any of the actions of Shanks would be justified, since something as simple as “giving Luffy his hat” would be something that seems way too sincere to be just be something of “undercover agent does something to make sure his cover isn’t blown”, and 3. If Shanks had any idea of Luffy’s bigger role in the grand scheme of things like the endgame, there’s no way Imu would tolerate Shanks letting Luffy do something like reach Gear 5.
im not saying shanks was evil all along in fact i could see shanks being genuine pretty much the entire time until he steps foot back home thats when imus powers could have been triggered and shanks began to be controlled without realizing it since we can see imus control powers can work on unwilling targets.

if we go down a shanks is evil route its not going to be something like him being a secret spy working for imu the whole time its going to be imu only recently getting control of him and using him to keep tabs on what other pirates are doing. but only every so often as to not make anyone suspicious.

not to mention at this point in time especially with vegapunk spilling the beans to everyone pretty much i think imu is more interested in waiting for whoever gets to the final island to get there before making his move to destroy it entirely along with anyone involved. that means luffy even if he is a bother gets to live until then because whatever joyboy hid there is clearly something imu cant get to and might even be the final thing he needs for whatever his plan is.

I mean, Ryuma was mainly mummified at most while Oden's body was destroyed. Muscle would have to be rebuild, skin grafted, bones repaired and for what? A corpse at nowhere near the strength of the original? The man was almost cremated. You are working with cooking ingredients, not a corpse anymore. Remember how much weaker Oars was? They had to recreate an arm and that left a weak-spot to be exploited. And that was with a corpse preserved in ICE! There was nothing of Oden that was not severely damaged. Ryuma was also very weakened and he even had the shadow of a master swordsman inside. Even Hogback would have to create an entirely new human at that point. Bones become more fragile after burning too.

I thought the two devil fruits Rocks needed was Luffys and Lokis.
I would doubt it.

Rocks is likely going off incomplete information as he doesn't seem to have anyone to read the Poneglyphs, I think Rocks got enough info to know Imu exists and is King of the World but is working off guesswork for the rest.

I wouldn't be so quick to assume that, we don't know exactly what Rocks knew. I don't think Rocks even knew Imu existed, I think he knew there was a grand national treasure in MG and was after that and discovered Imu in the process. If anything I'm betting it's Teach who is working off incomplete information. My current guess is that Teach is under the belief that the Yami and Gura fruit are the two Rocks was after. I mean imagine what Harald could do with the Gura fruit.

i thought rocks actually got passed everyone and saw imu and managed to escape which is what started him on his goal to become king of the world. also i think teach is planning things out better than rocks did. i suspect everyone on blackbeards crew is there for a reason beyond just being strong.

the gura fruit is most likely to take down the red line or something like that where as the yami fruit might make teach immune to imu and the elders attacks. i think loki has the fruit that rocks wanted and most likely ate it because of how much he looked up to rocks whatever that fruit is it seems to be something that works best when an ancient giant uses it so we will have to wait and see.

Rocks is literally from God Valley, is actually "Davy D. Rocks", and is going back to save his wife, son, and probably homeland as well. Why are we supposed to hate this guy kikegoku?
1. Spoilers, dude. The chapter isn’t out yet.

2. I’m not sure “hate” is the right word. Before this, he was just some mythical figure from the past. This is literally the shit with Zoro vs Sanji and Shanks vs Mihawk where the only argument of who’s better boils down to “which of them did something cool more recently?”, now applied to Rocks vs Roger.

You underestimate Twitter bros, vs debaters/powerscalers, and character Stans. Even if this one picture is meant to be a joke (at least I hope it is).
I don’t. I see them and it’s stupid as hell. Just say you’re not into the series and leave it alone. People crave for characters strength more than usual for this series. Feels like they’re watching it wrongly or have a wrong limit of attachment to the characters.

So now that we know who it isn't who do we think buggys dad is? and how once thats revealed how is that going to make imu seethe cope and then kick over a seastone stool?

part of me wants buggy to be the actual descendant of joy boy and the entire joy boy family is just an entire race of clown people that imu hates because they worked for him back when he was just a random royal.
