On Bleach: Read the manga (it is better) until Ch. 479. Then switch to the TYBW anime as it is the definitive version of that part of the story (Kubo had health problems around that time and was forced to rush thing because of his wrist).
Given how long running Shounen endings are infamously shit and end up relying on a lot of deus ex machina or arsepulls, him having now a gap where the anime is taking a break and he can also take time to write the final arc should be good. In a way he’s kinda already started down the path that leads to most of these arsepulls being needed - the final boss/bosses have setting breaking powers (5 elders for one). Here are some examples.
Honestly, that has been talked to death: rushed ending due to health reasons. I personally reserve my judgement for the definitive version of the fight in the anime. Uryu being a silver bullet for Yhwach was hinted in the manga near the start of the arc but did not see development due to Kubo 's health at the time. Still, the story has a second chance and I will wait to see.
Naruto doesn't really have bad ideas, just bad executions. I stand firm by that assessment. All the problems about it could have been fixed with just a few corrections here and there.
I liked how they won against the body of Acnologia but the mind was indeed just the power of friendship. Still, that story continues but personally I am not watching anymore due to other reasons.
Honestly, all the talk of “edgy” comes down to 1. Gear 5 being based on Sun God Nika, a guy who played the fool to make people happy, and 2. Luffy’s carefree attitude and obviousness to the reality of the real power he has, along with his obliviousness to the grander endgame beyond something simple like “save Robin” or “save Ace”. And this is coming from somebody who thinks that the treasure on Laugh Tale is something that’ll give Luffy some kind of power boost.
From what I’ve seen, everyone has had complete faith that Oda will stick the landing, mainly because he has an ending (panel and everything) and the man plans to stick to it. That faith sure is something.

Well, to be honest, the 5 elders didn't feel like that hot shit. Certainly durable, but I never felt as threatened by them like with Big Mom or Kaido after their introduction.
