the main thing people learn in college now is how to protest and who is more marginalized at any given circumstance.
Maybe for people going too heavily into the humanities or sociology but this wasn't anywhere near my college experience. Sounds like you never went and are going based off assumptions and clips you've seen online.
You just said "CUT SOMETHING!" and left it at that.
Well yes, because I don't keep up with one piece anymore and forgot everything.

I did go to a university. Unless you go there to be a doctor, a handyman or went there for free, then you just might be out of luck. Not going to be the same experience with everyone though. Maybe you got lucky. Still, if your professor dismisses one of the most successful authors of all time, there is an issue. Maybe ask him how is Oda an exception. Find out why someone can break rules like that and still find such success. Perhaps the rules were softer than you were told.

So, you talk about things you do not know about? I mean, I forgot a whole lot about some works myself but I do not go there to display my questionable memory and embarrass myself. Shitting up the conversation just spoils the pool for when actual criticism and discussion comes.

Dude I don't care enough about my old professor to ask them about Oda when they never brought it up. All I said was that they wouldn't like dragged out and excessively long stories like Oda's. A story being good and a story making money are two different things by the way; why do you struggle with this concept?

I remember being bored as shit during Punk Hazard and especially Dressrosa.

What I am saying is that serialized stories do not become long when people drop them. Why do YOU struggle with this concept? Shonen Jump does not have the patience for things that do not make money and will not hesitate to replace them with things that do. If the buying public is not interested in One Piece, they would have said so with their wallets. Unless you think that MANY drop a ton of money on merch of a brand they hate or do not like that much anymore. One Piece merch sells. Do you think that they buy it ironically in high numbers to the point it is enough to sustain the brand and keep it thriving?

Yes, you were watching the anime at its most dragged out. We all were bored. It is easier to binge both of them in the manga. A lot of arcs people thought bad are far easier on re-read.

As I said before, people are willing to watch and read literal garbage. That doesn't change the fact that it's garbage.

As I said before, those people do not watch the garbage for long. They go watch something else instead. They also do not buy merch of garbage shows either. Ask Marvel and DC how producing garbage worked out for them.

it worked for over a decade and they still make money.
Not really. Neither is a reliable hit maker. DC is about to be sold and Marvel has pissed away all its good will. Neither makes enough money on comics (which was their bread and butter back in the days they actually had good writing). Their movies are a panned and not clicking with the audience. Their TV shows are a joke. And they are losing the young audiences. Past success only carried them this far. They spend an entire country's GDP on movies and shows that few watch as of 2019 and that has affected their leaders. Iger is gone and DC is about to get eaten by Paramount.

I did my part!

lmao thats fucking morbid. are one piece "fans" really sure they want yamato to be transgender?
They have percentages to maintain. Can you imagine the 41% dropping? That would be the real tragedy!

I forget Sanji's birthday and you guys get into another slapfight. Clearly the birthday posts need to come back with a vengeance.

Nami hasn't had a half decent look since the timeskip.
Literally just has some random bullshit on looking a complete mess.
The Elbaf outfits are pretty good but yeah character design in general has been less of a focus since the time skip.

Lmao Nami not wearing panties with those outfits suggests when his wife models them, she's not wearing them. Oda, you cheeky bastard, honestly shocked they only had two children lol.

Gecko Moria being washed up onto Wano makes sense given his appearance, guess we'll be getting his birth country in another SBS or Vivre Card update. Really is a shame there were a lot of stories Oda had to cut from Wano given its size, he was that excited for the arc.

Yamatofags keep seething.
