Lmao Nami not wearing panties with those outfits suggests when his wife models them, she's not wearing them. Oda, you cheeky bastard, honestly shocked they only had two children lol.

Gecko Moria being washed up onto Wano makes sense given his appearance, guess we'll be getting his birth country in another SBS or Vivre Card update. Really is a shame there were a lot of stories Oda had to cut from Wano given its size, he was that excited for the arc.

Yamatofags keep seething.
It is sad because this really completes Moria's story.

I'm surprised it wasn't a cover story.
It makes sense. It is closer to something like Kid's backstory. Good to know, it humanized Moria more. He did not steal the relics of a foreign nation, he tried his best to liberate his homeland. As for cover stories, they are more about things that happen now or happened recently. Backstories are almost never shown. Even Vegapunk's backstory was meant to tie him to the ongoing Germa cover story. It was not purely a flashback.

Do you think Luffy would eat Impossible Burgers and other kinds of terrible not-meat meats
are the foods created on egghead real? because luffy ate that stuff no problem.

lmao thats fucking morbid. are one piece "fans" really sure they want yamato to be transgender?
if yamato wants to live like oden she has to die like oden too. its why her choosing to stay in wano was actually a special moment in her growth because oden would have instantly hopped on the ship. but instead of doing what oden would have done she stayed to protect everyone because she knew she was the only one who could keep wano safe for now.

Truly a great chinese cartoon. Only issue with it is this: who the fuck can recommend someone who hasnt seen it yet to watch over 1000 episodes of a cartoon where it doesnt pick up til ep 270 or so (enies lobby).

Hmm. The Netflix season 2 trailer just popped up in my Youtube watch history a couple minutes ago.
I didn't click it, I haven't watched it. Yet it's there between two videos I did just watch back-to-back moments ago with no chance that I could have accidentally clicked anything else. And if I had I would have clicked out immediately, yet Youtube thinks I've watched 100% of it. Curious.

It really didn't pick up til gear second when compared with its contemporaries and it didnt become god tier until robins I want to live scene
We all agree that the show changes gears then but in both Arlong Park and Arabasta, you also see that there is more than what was initially let on. You get the idea that the series is a whole lot grander. Things further improved with Enies Lobby but to say that there was no high quality earlier too is wrong. I think that the quality and the promise that there is more epicness to come is enough.

Happens often with miscellaneous videos with me too.

Ill agree that the show got up there with the animes you watch weekly during arlong park and Arabasta was a MAJOR turning point in taking the anime from some just turning the tv on to watching it weekly level! I just feel that the enies lobby arc is when one piece went from a good anime to the BIG THREE,

I agree. I think that being really good with the promise of being even better in the future is a good way to sell someone on that many episodes though. Just give them a filler guide to avoid.

Man even with the filler guide its over 700 episodes. I just cant recommend it to any of the anime loving zoomers I encounter simply because anyone with a job doesnt have time for it now lol

General agreement is that it picks up at Arlong Park.
I always say that Chouchou vs. Richie is the early hook. Sure it takes off at Arlong Park and gets to cruising altitude around Enies Lobby, but the dog protecting its store from the lion is where the story starts taxiing down the runway.

Feel like a lot of the newer generation "is this the next BIG 3 successor???" series rush into high-intensity spectacle too soon and forget that the big 3 (and dragon ball before them) built up to that gradually - and the audience didn't pick up those lower-stakes early chapters because they knew what was coming and wanted to get the context for later, they picked them up because those lower-stakes early chapters were enjoyable on their own, doing a good job of setting up the world and characters and establishing a pattern for how the story might progress going forward, which the later arcs followed through on (to varying degrees depending on series)

i first started watching at long ring long then stopped for a bit and started again at punk hazard so for a good while there were just massively important parts of the story i never watched. but what i did was wait for a time when i was bored and had free time and just picked an arc i never watched and watched it over time.

it was a nice way to pass the time when waiting for new manga chapters or anime episodes to pop up. i did the same thing with naruto back in the day. just randomly decided to start watching and went back to catch up during filler or breaks.

When you are an adult, you have to learn to make your own schedule. Let them try and see how many episodes they can handle in a day.
