I'm probably late, but it looks like DingDong completely wiped the YouTube channel for stream re-uploads. Sucks man! The Halloween streams were a lot of fun.
He's also completely wiped his twitter, Which isn't the first time, as I recall. Probably for the best, it does suck because he retweeted a lot of interesting indie games also in development.

Looks like he's actually going through with dropping the DD persona. Oh well! Was fun while it lasted. Like you said, probably for the best. This shit has clearly been putting extra holes in his brain.

People were using one stream in particular to cite a specific rant where he reveals his true form: a histrionic autistic homosexual who believes everyone is out to get him.
I remember him awkwardly switching between dates in one of his rants and it was giving me serious Terry vibes.
"in 2004 someone was trolling me so I trolled them back and everyone else in my social group clapped in 1996 my mom beat me bloody and released poisonous gas from under my bed"
That sort of shit.

I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion, but: DingDong is my favorite OneyPlays member, and always has been.

Not only does he have interesting commentary on games and other media, his style of humor is always right up my alley and he bounces off of Chris beautifully. Of course the classic Crash 2 series comes to mind, but stuff like the Mario 64 multiplayer and Second Life vids do wonders with his presence. The silly improv skits from Marble Blast and Deadly Premonition are some of my favorites, and his moments with SuperMega are fucking hysterical. It's like everything becomes funnier when he's in the room.

So if he's truly hopping off the internet forever this time, I'll damn well miss him. That said, I do wish the best for him and his projects, and support what it takes for him to fully recover from what those asshats (and recently himself) put him through.

DD was my favorite for a long while but I can't help but see his attitude in a less flattering light at this point.
I enjoy his style of humor (more so in the older vids and less so now), I think the expansive knowledge and weird taste in games was an interesting thing to brin gto the table for a casual LP channel like Oney Plays and the passion he had for the games he really like or just thought were cool was always great to see.
But (and this is probably actually an unpopular opinion) I started to appreciate Julian's presence more on the channel more as time went on.
He lacks a things like DD's pretentiousness and was always very open about who he was without having those things be his personality. He also always seemed to be in high spirits which is a nice change at times when compared to DD's sometimes downright surly moods. I think even if his attempts at humor usually fell flat the attempts themselves were funny in their own way (see Spooky Splash) and he was one of the best members to bounce things off of. He also had a pretty good knowledge of all things animation which I found fun to listen to when he chose to talk about it. And when all else fails, Julian was an immaculate laugh track. I can't count the amount of times Julian laughing at something made me laugh.
I find it funny that he has always been one of the more stable and consistent people, both as a guest on OneyPlays and through all of the DD drama.
I know people call him the boring one but I'm willing the be the world's only Julian appreciator.

Julian always seemed to me like the most relatable member because he often acted like an audience member to Chris and Ding Dong's bits. I think this animation is a good representation of what makes Julian unique. Throughout the whole bit, Julian is reacting out of character to Chris and Ding Dong's characters. He's like a hype man and laugh track for the act playing out in front of us, which is a really genuine and valuable role to play.

Of course he had funny moments, and I don't mean any disparagement, but he was the least comedically sharp of the trio. Chris and Ding Dong both had previous podcasts or streams where they got some experience playing off others to improvise funnies, but I don't think Julian had anything like that. That made his brand of humor more authentic because it was less refined. He's just a funny, likable guy having a good time with his friends.

I went from knowing nothing about Bowblax to disliking him really fast.

Watching that video I feel like he's pretending to be less familiar with Veronica than he actually is. I think she's definitely his source.
Either that or it was a really slow "news" week and they entire commentary clique just decided to swoop in on this bit of drama and make it about themselves in order to grift more effectively.
Maybe it's both.

I apologize if this is off-topic, but why haven't any of you bastards told me that Tomar could grow hair on his dome and wasn't just born bald?
I think its safe to assume Tomar was born bald. Anyways this is a younger Tomar, but I just assume he went bald in his thirties. I suppose he could have shaved his head at the sign of balding. Tomar has said he likes being older, so it makes sense he'd prefer a more older look. That's something though, Chris & Zach both mentioned their experiences with male pattern baldness & being concerned about it.
