i've also thought this but i legitimately think that 15-20 minutes is too long for the kind of humor/stories they;re trying to tell. with the absurd random bullshit I think it needs to be 11 minutes. like imagine the Alan episode, you really want to watch him trying to chase down paperclips for 20 minutes?

i think the best solution is to just do the old cartoon. 20 minute episodes with 2 separate ten minute stories in them.
 
I think they also could/should do 10 minute episodes but also do specials sometimes that involves two 10 minute episodes with a continuous story.

For a game whose entire selling point is the main character being a furry creature with a big ass, it looks kinda...bland. Maybe it's funner to play than to watch, I'll have to see for myself. If they make a Pseudoregalia 2, I hope they write an actual story. Mindless platforming and puzzle solving isn't fun without some kind of context.

Edit: he's right. He, and DD, couldn't make it on their own. And still can't. They needed Chris to give them any semblance of a following and they proceeded to do fuck all with that massive boost other than shit on everyone they gained from OneyPlays. They've done fuck all in all this time other than power level on tumblr and suicide bait on twitch. All while raking in thousands a month off pateron and shit despite producing literally nothing of value?
 
Instead of saying "Thank god for Oneyplays for making my career!" Julian and Ding Dong have repeatedly shat on their time on the channel and attacked the audience that made them internet famous. Kind of reminds me of Idubbbz. It comes off as really ungrateful and thin skinned.
 
They don't realize that they're trying to have their cake and eat it, too.

If you really want to move on, stop being DD&J. Julian I have a little more sympathy for, because that's his actual name, but DING DONG has no excuse. Why would you still go by the fake name you came up with for Let's Playing if you want to close that chapter completely? It's almost like the Ding Dong and Joooolian identities pay for your food, rent and never ending vanity projects and you don't want to give that up.
 
The question with DD&J is if they are self aware enough to know they are constantly shit-talking the only fanbase they have, and are doing it just to farm pity from the very fans they seem to hate, or if they are honest to god retarded and don't realize they are looking a gift horse in the mouth and saying "I fucking hate you, stalker children*"

*Actually adults over 18, but gotta keep up the whole "Only kids watch Lets Play" line they were saying since day one on Oneyplays, as if 13 year olds are watching 2016 era OneyPlays in 2024.

they can have whatever opinion they want about their FANBASE but what's truly sad is how ass-blasted they seem about it. constantly talking and thinking about it, like someone with ocd picking at a scab until it becomes a hole in their leg.

if you're living right you don't spend time and energy repeatedly coming back to some tiny cultural inflection point where you feel you were wronged or haven't correctly expressed exactly what you feel about what happened. it's lolcow behavior.


( i guess the exception is if you're literally being paid to reminisce i.e. you were on Firefly for two episodes and people book you at convention Q&As to ask what the actresses smelled like. in which case it's still kinda sad but whatever, beats digging ditches)
