Just shit videogame humour that dorkly used to shit out and even that was overplayed by 2013 I'm so glad there isn't some gay nostalgia for it like early 2000s youtube

I vaguely remember zach making fun of other shit twee songs like linked below can't remember the exact vid though
 
My favorite thing about Starbomb is that Dan has said even his father uses it as an insult. "That song was your best song on the album. Some of the other ones were a little too ehhhh Starbomb"
 
I wasn't sure where exactly to post this as there's both Smiling Friends and Oney/Sleepycabin-related content in it but I figured the Oney stuff was more significant. A couple weeks ago, several Newgrounds artists put together a zine and a fair bit of it is dedicated to mocking Chris and his general sphere of people.

Reading through this, it comes off as extremely bitter and angry that Chris and Zach are more well known than what the individuals involved with this were making under the thin veil of satire.

Newgrounds is exclusively used by retards who wish they could've grown up using the website in its hayday and made friends with Chris and Zach irl and are now upset that they moved on to do real things with their careers instead of sit around and make fucking fanzines for their incestuous audience of like 15 people.

Also Sleepycabin did produce animations, they just weren't uploaded to the Sleepycabin channel. Idk what that one guy is even bitching about in the first two images.

Going through the artist credits I did uncover some interesting finds:

A lot of these people are involved with the same small handful of projects, including Bridge Kids and an indie pilot called Ratbasterdz, which is why there's no jokes at either's expense.

It's especially funny because Bridge Kids checks a lot of the same boxes as Smiling Friends (goofily designed characters having realistic conversations) but at the very least Smiling Friends characters do more than just stand there and occasionally move an arm or two.

5oux_Xm5.jpg Ratbasterdz on the other hand has designs that reek of degenerate furry porn. I don't know why, it just gives me that vibe.

Apologies for coming off as MATI, I just wanted to give my thoughts on these.
