I want this to be true too, but Eli is pulling some kind of a prank here. All the videos have been recorded in the same area in Tel Aviv, and the last two - the training camp and the bombed building - were utter bullshit. I haven't seen anything to confirm when the videos were filmed, though, and the only reference I can remember was Eli talking about meeting an informant.

There have been very long gaps between Eli's videos. What has he been doing in the meantime? Where did he sleep before he figured out to change his money? On the streets? He would have bitched on Twitter and complained to Jace. Nah, he's safe and comfortable, wherever he is.

Now that you mention it, Eli does seem way to cool about this. If he was serious about this, he'd be WAY more paranoid. As it is, I think (and hope :evil:) he's trolling.

I thought he didn't get on Birthright?

It's possible that Eli ran out of weed and realised how much he fucked up when he came out of his drug induced haze. He is now pissed off with Jace.

According to him he didn't have any weed since he left America, wich is also why he asked people on twitter where he could find some in Tel-Aviv. Maybe he actually traded some of his stuff (including his phone) in for some weed there.

Touche, but isn't there a possibility that all the videos were filmed in one day? Maybe Eli slipped away for a little while the group was in Tel Aviv.

And not to mention Birthright tours you around a lot of areas of Israel. Eli has only stayed in the same neighborhood all this time. Also, he was staying in a hostel at one point, something that Birthright definitely would not do.

Possible but unlikely. That would suggest Eli was smart enough to space out his videos with matching tweets and come up with lies like not having shekels and staying in a hostel just to mess with Jace.

Jace has hardly been quiet. He just grew tired of playing pretend Spymaster and has been playing pretend Robin Hood on his play date at Kyle's.

Probably not. Something about these videos still doesn't ring true. I mean yeah, Hamas' rocket attacks have been largely impotent, but for all that most of Eli's footage (esp. the volleyball park) does not look like it's coming out of a city that's taking 200 rocket attacks a day. Unless the Israelis have become incredibly chill and blasé about such things.

They're just that blasé about it all.


That's from 2 days ago, random 'tel aviv streets' search. Nothing about it looks like there's any real care for it being a danger zone, people are just doing what people do.

Well, the "200 rockets-a-day" thing is bullshit to begin with. Israel extends the "greater Tel Aviv area" all the way to the border to inflate the numbers. The only time you'll hear warning sirens is when there's a protest the government wants to shut down. Otherwise, it's perfectly safe for Eli to wander around mumbling into his phone for a few minutes between six hour Runescape sessions. Bad seafood is much more of a threat to our stoner spy than qassam rockets.
