There will be no one to record Jace getting arrested, no one to get the Gail-freakout as she learns that Eli was "talking bad about muslims to Jace", no one to record the raid on Jace's house... we'll get nothing.

Maybe if we are lucky, we will see in a month's time an article from the local paper briefly mentioning a "homegrown terrorist" (how ironic) in the sleepy town of [Jace's Location].

We'll at least know when it's over, since the only way this is a dead-stop cliffhanger is if Jace stops making livestreams. Which would only happen if he gets arrested or killed.

Yea we still have Jace now.. but if the NSA / State Department are actually doing their jobs and not just shitposting on 4chan all day ( as I suspect) , they will definitely be needing to have a talk with Jace.

You can't just send someone to a different country to assassinate a former prime minister and get away with it. He will at least get charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

he's doing 18 years in prison (he also has a couple other charges besides this threat) even though he had no intention of ever following through (he was trying to impersonate his neighbor).

edit: actually, I was wrong http://www.tsa.gov/traveler-information/prohibited-items says that bows and arrows are cool as long as it's in his checked luggage.

You don't believe they have an ACTUAL crossbow do you? Remember the Tactical Scythe? Remember how Jace said Eli had to "assemble" the weapon?

I tend to agree. while nothing might have actually gone down, they openly discussed their intent and plan on twitter, which they both subsequently linked to the united states embassy in tel aviv. I have a hard time believing they'll get off that easy. it's all speculation at this point though, of coirse.

I suppose so. That does have the flaw of trying to appeal to an irrational man with rationality. I can't see it working super-well.

I was thinking more along the lines of things like the message to the embassy. Maybe contacting his family or something.

I am not endorsing these or any other moves, though. I have not been following Jace or Eli until this stunt.

This is, beyond any doubt, the most darkly fascinating thing I have ever read.

I sort of hope this whole debacle has a happy ending (and by that I mean Jace finally getting his just desserts).

I've literally seen a crossbow made in prison from solidified toilet paper and makeshift glue (don't recall how, except it actually wasn't at all disgusting given what you'd think) that looked sturdier than that. Of course it also wasn't made in an hour and the "ease" with which it was assembled used as the only qualifying detail for thinking it could be something like the Golden Gun.

In Black Ops 1/2, you can use a powerfull and silent crossbow as a weapon. It is a one hit kill.

Remember that Call of Duty emulates real life.... right?
