In "The Hero with a Thousand Faces", Joseph Campbell offers a fascinating look at the role of protagonists in myth and fiction, where a person of modest origins wanders to the territory of supernatural, is imbued with mystical powers, undergoes struggle and various tests before, during and after they do their missions. This of course describes Operation Tupacalypse to a certain extent, but weed is somehow involved.

I'm going to state the obvious -Operation Tupacalyplse is effectively over.
Eli was never going to get into Gaza. If he attempted to "Parkour" past the blockade, he'd have been caught (and likely beaten) by the IDF, then detained until the US Consulate came to collect him. Eli would have been shot if he found a tunnel used by Hamas, but he was never up to the task of finding them. Hamas would not have taken him hostage, because he's an American, and taking "outsiders" hostage is bad for PR.
I was convinced the missile attacks on Tel Aviv would have grown more frequent, and Eli would have died in someone else's war. That has proven to not be the case.
Do we need a dedicated Eli thread?

Isn't it worth keeping it going until Eli is brought home? I for one want to know when Jace will bail his "friend" out. Eli isn't in danger, but it's still retarded that he's in Israel at all.
I'd say keep posting Eli stuff here given that technically until he returns to America (or Jace admits the mission is a failure) everything we hear he does is intel on what he's been doing during the operation. There's also the fact that Eli hasn't really been all that active at least publicly so I see little point in creating a thread every-time he updates his Twitter with 'Just Masturbated', at least while this thread is still somewhat active.

Good points. Damn near all we know about Eli has come from this Operation, and it's highly likely Jace and Eli will end their friendship after this. If it becomes necessary, we'll mine this thread for a hypothetical "Eli General Thread" -I look forward to that.

Ending their friendship? Why? Eli is stupid enough to have gone on the first place. They only reason he won't be his friend is if he gets no Xbone. Even then I'm not convinced that he won't get high and forget Israel ever was a thing.

I don't think they actually read this forum. AFAIK, Jace gets an intel report, like from CIADude or someone, that probably wouldn't cover things like OKCupid snooping.
