So you're the asshole that's ruining my matches?Nevermind rank being visible, there should be a badge of sorts that indicates a player is drunk and doesn't care what happens. I would use that quite a bit.

lol I only do that in arcade. I ruin everybody's day in the arcade. So you're the asshole that's ruining my matches?
You're the lynchpin of the team, so ultimately they will react around you (if they're not the pointless pond life I often get in Quick Play). It's all about countering, so knowing what your enemies can do and being ready to nullify it over dealing damage, and knowing your limits and that of your team. If you're facing Winston, for example, Junker Queen's close combat abilities and D.Va's close range scatter pattern are a good counter. If they go Reinhardt, Ramattra's ablitiy to pierce barriers and Orisa's resistance to crowd control will make life difficult for him. If you're against Sigma, Zarya can walk through his barrier and beam through his defenses and so on. Again, it demands you proactively counter their abilities - if you know a Reaper or a 'Cassidy' is likely about to use their ultimate, you get ready to counter it - you either keep your barrier ready to deploy, or you charge them and block the damage or have crowd control ability on hand to interrupt.Needs like shielding, protecting, stalling, even distracting?
It feels like being Tank is babysitting the objective or being the front end of attack when pushing corners. In my experience, it's hard to be aggressive without leaving your team out to dry. So, try to pick off the other tank and go from there.
I can attest to that. Bronze/Silver, I'm seeing Ramattra used often. In my experience, you have to pelt him 2v1 to have a chance. His blocking and "wrath" AoE ability is much to handle for any tank. I want to unlock him ASAP so I could have a chance. Thanks for the tips with Ramattra's counter. If they go Reinhardt, Ramattra's ablitiy to pierce barriers and Orisa's resistance to crowd control will make life difficult for him.
Ramattra's ultimate is easier to handle now because they nerfed the duration, is also blocked by barriers and he's vulnerable to crowd control - a decent Ana, Lucio, Zenyatta (if at all possible) can counter it. His combo is to do minor damage behind his barrier in omnic form then get aggressive in his nemesis form, which makes Zarya, Orisa and D.Va I think his best counters. Reaper, Junkrat, Mei and Symmetra can make his life difficult due to his low mobility and their high damage up close. I'm personally not sold on Junker Queen yet, in large part because she puts herself in close combat yet has no way to avoid or block attacks. When I see her playing as Sigma I'll have smacked her down with rocks about 30 times before the end of the match.I can attest to that. Bronze/Silver, I'm seeing Ramattra used often. Junker Queen is more disruptive than Orisa because of her "bleeding" abilities. In your face with a smaller hitbox.
Orisa counters him. When he comes in to punch you just throw your javelin at him as you backup. Puts him well out of range of hitting you.In my experience, you have to pelt him 2v1 to have a chance. His blocking and "wrath" AoE ability is much to handle for any tank.
It's the disaster that keeps on giving. It's truly amazing how Blizzard just keeps fucking up at every turn.Overwatch 2 Hero Mode (the big PVE thing they've been teasing) is dead.
Seems like a very fluffy interview that boils down to "It was hard so we said No". It was clearly too ambitious for the OW teams over the years but another big loss for people thinking that Blizzard is going to deliver on anything innovative ever again.
Well, that was a whole lot of effort for fucking nothing.Overwatch 2 Hero Mode (the big PVE thing they've been teasing) is dead.

Can we have the original Overwatch foundation back? There was no reason to rebuild it as a "sequel." Their biggest talking point for the number 2 was the PvE, and now that's canned. I feel ripped off, and I don't even care for the PvE.So what the fuck have they been doing since 2019?
And can we at least have our loot boxes back?
If you're interested, there's a competitive deathmatch mode for the season. Also, let's appreciate how Blizzard ruined competitive ranking and tracking for no clear reason. Also, I don't get competitive. I game to game, not to have a second job minmaxing my strats.
