Server will be down for an indeterminate amount of time tomorrow starting at 10am probably. Having some hardware problems. Pro tip never buy western digital drives.

Looks like we're getting a raid soon-ish.
I hope the stats and mechs will scale according to the number of players. Don't want to see a repeat of Borderlands-tier bullshit which automatically assumes someone will be there to revive you.

I will max the IVs of large pals during launch week if they make her capturable. I really hope you can keep her that size in the field. Wiping out a camp of syndicate people would be kino.
 
Hey guys, is there a good way to farm keys? I have a stash of bronze keys, but better ones run out fast.

According to the wiki, there's 3 ways of finding keys.

1) Find randomly in chests.

2) May be dropped by enemies during/after a raid on your base.

3) Wild Leezpunk can drop bronze/silver keys. The Leezpunk Alpha boss has a chance of dropping gold ones. Gold Keys also drop if you can defeat a Black Marketer.
 
Looks like the save file is corrupt for some reason. I'm rolling back to a backup on 3-13. By the end of the weekend, I'll setup a job to automate backups every hour. Plus something to notify me if the network fails. Sorry.
 
Noticed something odd on my Schteam page, namely Palworld no longer being at 100% completion.

Lo and behold, there's two chievos added for the upcoming raid. Normal and hard difficulty perhaps? Might have to prepare accordingly. Or join the server. I'm assuming my fellow kiwis aren't filthy cheaters and all your Pals are legit. AUGH YEAH

The thing is I really don't know what to do here. On the one hand, I turn on building degradation and it crashes to the ground ruining whoever did this's work. On the other hand, I just leave it up there and the islands begin to resemble New Phyrexia as more continents are added on top of each other.

When somebody comes out with a custom spawn mod. I'm probably going to try spawning some legendaries up there.

I will look into that. Most of the server latency comes from using a reverse proxy. It might be the data centers Internet connection as well. Anyone have recommendations for a low latency host on the East Coast perferrably near NYC or Chicago?
