Palworld - Everything you have ever wanted from a Pokemon game

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I have decided to set a cron job to restart the server every 3 hours starting at 02:00 EDT/06:00 UTC today. I'll see if this fixes the memory problem. If your connection times out, that is normal. Loading the server's data only happens when the first person connects. Since loading the whole server is longer than the timeout, if you are first you will timeout. Wait 5 minutes or 10.

I also have no idea why the guy who built the sky continent left behind legendary eggs in some of the buildings, but thanks for that.

Did you leave some chests with eggs at my base? I took them anyway so thanks for that.

I just start getting into the server and it always crashes. Kinda annoying also who the fuck is newguy.

I’ve been enjoying the “Lucky and boss Pals only” thing I’m doing on the server. I’ll catch regular ones to use for the condenser,,but the first one I catch/use on base and teams are either Lucky or Bosses. It’s also helped me change up my team a bit compared to my solo play version.

I've been wandering around the island looking at everyones bases before the server dies. I'm impressed with the multi story cubes people have.

To the player that was on last night before the connection dropped, I have the Egg you wanted. I’ll try and get on tonight to give it to you.

In other news, I cheesed the Libra raid boss and finally managed to catch Jetdragon on my single player game, though I’m still two levels below actually getting to ride him. All I have left are the duo-bosses.

How difficult was it i'm keen to try and do Bellnoir first but trying to work out how to set up a base that i can easily smash it.
Regular Bellnoir is pretty easy if you have a base full of Pals at at least 40 and a good set of weapons and party Pals. She’s not too strong and can be taken down pretty quickly.

The Libera version is level 50 and you’d better have a full base of level 50s and the best weapons you can possibly find with plenty of ammo, dodging like a motherfucker, and she heals half her health back at one point. And there’s a version after that too.

Or, you can absolutely cheese the fight by having no Pals on base, placing a tall stool, build the summon alter on top of that, build a campfire right by the stool, then get on a fast mount and sprint away full speed the second you trigger the raid summon. She’ll just sit there and burn to death, but you’ll need to attack her at least once to get the drops and XP. You’ll want to get close around 8:30 of the countdown to track the heath drop enough to attack without triggering the heal.

You’ll get the egg no matter what though.

No matter what though, I’d recommend just placing a base solely for raid summons, because fights can absolutely wreck all of your shit.

I'll also add: if you're not gonna cheese Libero, be mindful of your base boundaries and how many of your pals are still conscious. If all your pals are KO'd and you take a step too far past your bounds, she will immediately switch targets (and teleport if needed, so don't think building a tower will work, trust me, its a bad idea) to your Palbox and start nuking it.

When she starts shifting to phase 2 (around 10-15%), just focus on reloading and getting ready. Even if you can crank out enough dps to drop her health entirely, you cannot stop phase 2.

If you wanna wreak shit...

Legendary Pal Armor + Helm, Legend Assault Rifle.
Reset your stat points, dump into Atk and a bit of HP.
4 4* Gobfins with Vanguard and Stronghold Strategist + A good flying mount you can shoot on in your party (I use Frostallion). 2 +2 attack amulets, then eat a Mozzarina Cheeseburger.

Enjoy having 600+ attack and well over 1000 defense.

I have had awful luck with weapon and armor schematic drops personally. I’ve never got any high end weapons above a blue, and while I do slightly better with armor, I only ever get as high as a purple.

Small patch came out. Boosted the hatching speed on the new incubators, and optimized processing loads on servers. Also some bug fixes.

I would definitely recommend the "Slaughter bug" if you want the legendary schems from the legendary pals without pulling your hair out or dying from boredom. Once you've beat them once, its easy enough to do again, its the respawn timer that really makes it painful to do legit, but the extremely low drop rate really doesn't help either. It took at least 20 slaughters of each, and Frostallion easily took around 70.

I would say practice the timing on easier to obtain pals first, but the timing is a little bit different based on the size of the Pal and if it's a flying or ground mount. Flying mounts are the easier of the two to time thanks to having a much larger "mount" radius. Generally though, you want to mount the Pal you're slaughtering as the second swing is reaching its lowest point. If you're doing it on a server, you're going to get clipped through the ground then launched into the air when you dismount due to the Pal model bugging out, so be ready to glide. The items from the slaughter will spawn in the air and slowly drift down, so I recommend doing it in an open area where you can easily see all the items when they finally hit the ground. You also want to build a box to dump things into, Jetragon for example drops Pure Quartz, and that shit gets heavy quick even with full weight investment.

Paladius and Necromus also drop Pal Ingots, which can help offset the sheer amount of Legendary Spheres you're gonna run through catching a few extra of each. Necromus specifically drops Large Pal Souls 100% of the time as well, so this is actually an extremely good way to load up on a ton of those. If you do this bug, you're also going to have enough Ancient Civ Crystals to last you a lifetime. Even at 1x, they drop a fuck ton of them.

I reached out to support at the hosting site, and they claim mods are to blame for this. I doubt it, but I'm going to try running the server without them for a day and see if that improve reliability. The server is currently running in vanilla mode right now.

Ironically, right after I posted last time, I hit lvl 49, beat Paladius and Necromus for the first time, and BOTH dropped Legendary Cold Pal Metal armor schematics on my single player run.

So random question for people on the server. How often do you guys utilize the glider mechanic while playing the game? This includes pals that allow you to glide.
