Palworld - Everything you have ever wanted from a Pokemon game

...wouldn't that be due to the separate floating continent?
We had the continent before 1.5. As far as I can tell, it didn't expand in size. The current memory issue might not even be related. I'll backup the save file tomorrow and set degradation to 100 and see if the continent's the problem. I just don't want to lose the signs, as that's really what makes the server special.

Edit:sorry we had it before 2.1

3v3 Pal battles with trainers coming.

Well, at least shinies are pretty much confirmed.
I'm rolling in with 3 Lovanders and you can't stop me.

Fuck it, I'm dealing 1,000,000 damage a second to all structures outside of bases overnight. Try and log on in the morning if you dare.

The server is now up, but on a new host. It can be found at: alloy.dathost.net:29182
The sky continent must be destroyed for this server to continue existing in a performative manner. I am issuing a humble request to the players to help me in destroying it. I have set damage to player structures to 100000x and disabled raids. A motivated player or players with a Grizzbolt or a rocket launcher should make quick work of it. New structures from this point on will degrade normally, this should fix the issue.

Edit:A dinossom with leaf cutter and draconian breath does work as well.

Wouldn't just destroying the support(s) immediately collapse the whole thing?
There's also the issue of debris. All of that shit going to cause (tens?) of thousands of ingots to spawn.

It's all foundation so theres nothing actually supporting it. Only things attached to foundation break apart into stone/ingot when the foundation is destroyed, and from what I'm seeing theres really not a lot of that. Thankfully when foundation is destroyed it doesn't leave any debris behind itself. At least not with a rocket launcher.

Somebody had setup a fortress in the sky thing. I have destroyed it. There were some late game items in that fortress which may have required grinding. I have stashed them away. If you would like them back, send me a PM with a list of some of the more iconic items in your fortress which I could I identify your loot by. I will meet up with you at some time and hand them over.

Edit:This offer is valid for the next week only.

I was getting back into this upon the raid update and I was a little disappointed when so many words were censored, upon anywhere with text, basically.
Game is still fun, just a mild disappointment because it was one of the few games I could get away with naming a lucky Pal 'Huge Retard' without it going asterisks on me or telling me 'That's inappropriate'

Played around a bit and here's what I noticed:
• Dungeon/OW bosses no longer seem to have a damage reduction on them, either that or lifesteal has been made MUCH more effective
• incubators and power generators have to be scrapped and rebuilt, otherwise you can't assign eggs/pals to them
• distant object rendering distance has been increased significantly, for instance I can see Duneshelter from the ice island skill fruit tree
• fog of war has been reduced
• if your Pal is set to aggressive, it will attack Black Marketeers
• terrain textures in some places have either been downscaled hard or texture streaming is struggling to catch up
• overall performance gives me 60 fps in most places
• dungeons seem to be "open" more frequently
• dungeon boss selection seems to have been expanded, found a Chillet and Pengullet inside the icy caves
• hard mode raid boss summon slabs drop from ice island dungeon chests, don't know how many you need since the tooltip says "collect all to create a slab"
• alpha Pal hatch chance is really fucking low, 70+ eggs in in and no cigar
Ore mining building is in the ancient tech tree if you're looking for it, costs 2 points.
seeing this reminded me:
randomly picked up an electric egg, went ot hatch it wand got an alpha beakon. was shocked as hell given i assumed it was rare to get an alpha hatch.

I really never understood why adding a filter toggle is so hard, especially for multiplayer games. It really doesn't help when your filter is inconsistent or heavy handed as well. Some filters are so heavy handed, something nonsense like "foolish item" becomes "fooli*****em", and Palworlds is the epitome of inconsistent. "dick" is unacceptable, but "Dick" is a-ok. Nigger is unacceptable, but put a couple letters in front of it: "dumbnigger", and it will probably pass. Faggot is a no-go, but "faggit" "feggot" "feggit" ect all work.

I understand everyone has different sensibilities, but there's no reason to not have the option to turn it off, or at the very least make it a server setting. It sure as Hell takes me out of the game when I have to either reword what I'm typing 6 fucking times to get past filters enough to make sense, or stop to try and use cryptography to try and figure out what the fuck anyone else is actually saying. Plus, imo, if you're the kind of person who's going to have a historectomy over seeing/hearing "faggot" "retard" or "nigger" in a video game, you have no God damn business on the Internet or playing online multiplayer games to begin with. The Internet, much like the real world, is not a fucking daycare.

It's because the developers themselves don't care and didn't want to add it and so they don't even want to think about it after having it forced on the product by some marketing partner, if it's anything like the studio I worked at. If it's an imposed thing it's not going to have a toggle (because who would want to maintain a separate build for that distribution path, if it's even permitted), and because it's under protest it gets implemented in half an hour using some third-party string censorship library, which apparently all suck (and/or whoever gets the job either doesn't care or is too annoyed by having to do it to spend more time shopping around than it would take to implement from scratch).

I was pedantic enough to replace it when I noticed (and fortunately didn't have a producer telling me to work on more important stuff), but I get why 90% of devs don't.
Since the stupid "Black K***ht" bullshit that shows up is failing in literally the exact same way in every game I always assume it's an identical story, and likely the same retarded half-assed censorship library which I'm guessing is either the cheapest or the top google result.

I can't seem to find a mod for removing the filters. I looked around nexus and nothing.
I did find this in a discord server, but it is from a chinese site that I could not download from.

Until further notice IVs/talents will not be maxed on newly captured Alpha or Lucky Pals. Due to some compatibility issues with mods. This will not reduce their IVs below the default minimum of 50% IVs/talents which all Alphas/Luckies are given. Whatever you guys are doing with the continent is working. The size of the save file is down from 27MB to 19.5MB. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the memory usage stats since this is a hosted server, but I'm fairly certain the performance is increasing based on a steadily climbing fps, and lowering rtt.

Edit:
This is a reminder to be very careful around your own bases. The damage multiplier applies to all player structures. My advice is to not instigate fights with other pals or npcs, or at the very least pick them off quickly. Speaking from experience after getting my breeding base fucked up. Chill out.
