Palworld - Everything you have ever wanted from a Pokemon game

They put out a hotfix pretty quick, so it was probably resolved.

Its been a while since I checked. I loaded in everything I could find then went to the tundra since its the best place to see it all. For scale reference: the starting area (which Macro showcased above) is by my head.

With renewed interest in the game, I'd like to point something out for breeders. Any alphas, legendaries or luckies caught on my server should have max IVs.

It looks like they were trying to cover the whole overworld. You can see the outline of the continent above the ground.

What the hell is with the flying mount progression in this game. You get your first flying saddle at level 15, which is huge; game changer. Just painfully fucking slow.
Helzephyr is faster but unlocks at level 33, which takes a long fucking time to reach. Only it requires refined metal to craft, which you don't get until level 34. Which is also when you get the Beakon saddle, which is yet another tier of speed up from Helzephyr anyway. Fucking what.

I've already explored 80% of the map just to level up that much and I spent most of that time annoyed at my stupid fucking molasses-type dragon.

Helzephyr is for combat Beakon is for speed. Dark has more leverage against normal types which are more common. Lightening only affects water types which are not as prevalent as normal.
You don't see strictly better flyers until Suzaku/Ragnahawk/Fielaris. With Jetragon as the apex of speed while sacrificing versatility by preventing you from using anything but the rocket launcher and pal attacks. Basically it's always speed vs power at every tier.

My complaint is that for pretty much the whole exploration/effigy hunting phase of the game you're forced to use the absolute slowest pokemon.

Bumping those two down in the tech tree to level 20-25 (and maybe even keep the rare resource requirement while making them a rare drop/expensive purchase so that you have a sidequest outside of base grinding for that stretch of the game) would make a lot more sense.

My man missed the Hangyu glider at 20 and the mega grappling gun at 17. Outside of Jetdragon it's the fastest way to travel manually.

Straight dead, I'm running 12 cores and 80GB of RAM, and it crashes before loading the level and starting up the listener from memory overflows. I'll mess with it for another day, but until they get this performance stuff straightened out. I'm done.
