Palworld - Everything you have ever wanted from a Pokemon game

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
・New stat boosting items have been added: "Power Fruit, Life Fruit, Stout Fruit". These items will boost Pal's stats when used.
・New "Recovery Meds" items have been added. Using these meds will slowly recover your HP over time.
・New item "Ring of Mercy" has been added. When wearing this ring, you cannot reduce enemy HP below 1 when attacking.
・New building "Electric Egg Incubator" has been added. This incubator consumes electricity to automatically adjust the temperature to the optimum temperature for each egg.
・New building "Ore Mining Site" has been added. This mining site allows you to produce ores from the comfort of your base!
・Kelpsea can now produce Pal Fluids at the ranch
・Dumud can now produce High-Quality Pal Oil at the ranch
・New item "Ability Glasses" has been added. When equipped, you can see Pal's stats.
・You can now allow/disallow certain work for base Pals at the Monitoring Stand
・Chest filters have been added. Select item types to allow or disallow inside chests
・Building and building piece placement rules have been relaxed
⤷ You can now connect stairs facing upwards
⤷ Roof pieces can now directly connect to foundations
⤷ Triangular walls can now be connected to stairs
Easily the highlights. I'm looking forward to making my Lovander even more powerful, but holy shit -
・Eggs now have a small chance to produce Alpha Pals
Looks like the egg grind is back on the menu. Now it has to be 4 star female alpha with legend/ferocious/swift/musclehead.

Not sure how I feel about the raid boss not being capturable. The rewards gotta be asinine to compensate. Still won't object if fellow kiwis want to dunk on her on the server this weekend.

Taking out the raid boss gives you an egg of the raid boss to hatch.

Ah, fair. Still not too terribly excited since she's a dark type. I might have to bring some actual dragons with me unless those power fruits really end up making a significant stat difference.
I will likely bring a lizard with 4 attack boosters anyway. As long as there is no oneshot attacks or a very strict time limit it should all be gucci.

I’m glad I have a reason to start playing again. Maybe I’ll actually join a server now rather than just play offline by myself.

That... doesn't seem that great. My memory might be iffy but it feels like my hatched Lovanders had similar stats, especially HP. Defense was significantly higher (~80), as was the attack (around 140 if I'm not mistaken) only HP was in the low 500 range.

I kinda love/hate the raid boss set up. You pretty much need a sacrificial base to fight the thing, but being that you fight it at a base, it now gives you a legitimate reason to actually build an army of powerful Pals because they can reasonably participate in a large scale fight that isn't your fucking base being greifed by retarded NPCs. Time to construct a base with a fuck ton of turrets to murder this bitch.

Do these actually work? I used to have a Lamball HMG nest and they never fired upon anything that attacked the base. They were stocked with ammo and all properly assigned.
edit: looks like the baseline version is level 30... and not a challenge whatsoever, just a massive health sponge (300k hp) on a standard 10 minute timer. The uploader's shield never gets damaged more than 50%, and his Pal doesn't seem to be taking any damage. Given how Axel & Orserk have roughly half of her hitpoints and sit at level 40, she should be soloable*, especially if you're lv50 with legendary guns.
*I actually got my lizard to kill them without me lifting a finger and over 6 minutes to spare, so this could potentially be hilarious to watch.

It's pretty impressive how much difference a fully upgraded pal can make on the tower bosses. Using just baselines it took me a similar amount of time to take down Axel. With just a fully upgraded 4 star Katress, it only took it 3 minutes to solo Markus while I spent most of the fight just dodging and occasionally unloading the legendary shotty when he got too close.

We are up. Turns out during testing. I was trying to connect to the server too early. With the castle in the sky, the server takes roughly 20 minutes to start.

Edit:Another fix came when it was determined that the server's motherboard was set in efficiency mode as opposed to max IO. Also fuck C states. The windows vm has also been set to high performance.

Played around a bit and here's what I noticed:
• Dungeon/OW bosses no longer seem to have a damage reduction on them, either that or lifesteal has been made MUCH more effective
• incubators and power generators have to be scrapped and rebuilt, otherwise you can't assign eggs/pals to them
• distant object rendering distance has been increased significantly, for instance I can see Duneshelter from the ice island skill fruit tree
• fog of war has been reduced
• if your Pal is set to aggressive, it will attack Black Marketeers
• terrain textures in some places have either been downscaled hard or texture streaming is struggling to catch up
• overall performance gives me 60 fps in most places
• dungeons seem to be "open" more frequently
• dungeon boss selection seems to have been expanded, found a Chillet and Pengullet inside the icy caves
• hard mode raid boss summon slabs drop from ice island dungeon chests, don't know how many you need since the tooltip says "collect all to create a slab"
• alpha Pal hatch chance is really fucking low, 70+ eggs in in and no cigar
Ore mining building is in the ancient tech tree if you're looking for it, costs 2 points.

Never happened to me before. Mostly because the only Marketeer I used to visit on the regular got killed by wildlife and didn't respawn.

Not sure honestly, I'll have to run them through the wringer at some point. Hunting down fragments is time consuming, and the patch broke my item spawn mod on my testing rig, so I can't just mass spawn em in to test until that one gets fixed or another one gets made.
All my bases tend to be area invaders can't reach, so I legitimately have never seen one in action.

It's 4. Spawned one last night on an underpowered save, and needless to say I didn't stand a chance (it had around 500k fucking HP).

I'd be down to fighting her tomorrow, both forms. My bases are in absolute dogshit spots that have zero fighting room. Can only bring a legendary shotgun, purple AR and a green RL unfortunately.

From test summoning one, you definitely want to use a spare base and make it ONLY the summoning thing. You get a warning right before your summon that essentially says “this will absolutely explode everything, are you sure?”, so…use a big open field if you have one.
