Just to be clear about how safe the game probably is from Nintendo, the guy who made the Pokemon mod for the game apparently got contacted by Nintendo and told to knock that shit off….but the game itself has not been.

I mean it's only a matter of time before nude/sex mods. They made a Salazzle rip-off (Lovander) that officially wants to fuck humans as per its Paldex entry. What a time to be alive.
There's been plenty of pokemon knockoff games that are even closer to the actual Pokemon formula and Nintendo has given no fucks because it's not illegal to copy game concepts or ideas. Palworld's monster designs are pretty much the same thing as any game that takes a real life gun/car/whatever and changes it slightly/renames it to avoid any licensing issues. GTA has been doing it for fucking years and they have yet to get sued by any car company as far as I know.I don't think there's really any reason for Nintendo/TPC to get into a legal battle at all. It won't help the brand, and if anything, the online drama just proves they already have a dedicated legion of hyperfanatics who will support them no matter what. Their best move is probably just announcing yet another game and watching the droves of people go, "Hah, enjoy your cheap knockoff! I'm going to go play the REAL Pokemon game!!!"

That's not even remotely true. My circle of friends have been playing on a private dedicated server all week just by IP and port number. Solid performance and no crashes.Only real way to play multiplayer is through world invites.
No.Does Palworld have cute dubiously underage female tamers that I can have romantic fantasies about?
In the works.Does it have nude mods?
Lyleen. What's the closest equivalent to Gardevoir?
Can you imagine how many companies Nintendo would have to sue if they wanted to claim ownership over the entire monster genre?writing articles about whether or not Nintendo owns the rights to "Animal Combat Organized by Humans: The Video Game Genre".
To be fair, he was being a retard and charging money for itJust to be clear about how safe the game probably is from Nintendo, the guy who made the Pokemon mod for the game apparently got contacted by Nintendo and told to knock that shit off….but the game itself has not been.
He's a shitter for charging for it, but this is yet another reason to hope for Palworld's continued overwhelming success. Hey Nintendo? Skip litigation. Tell GF to go innovate instead. To be fair, he was being a retard and charging money for it

He would've gotten the strike even if it wasn't paid given Nintendo's track record. To be fair, he was being a retard and charging money for it

Both the devs and Nintendo would be silly not to. Especially with how popular handheld and mobile games are over thereI mean if we’re on the subject of the monster catching and fighting genre we already know Pokémon wasn’t the first and that Game Freak took ideas from other sources. If anything Dragon Quest 5 was the first JRPG that really did the “you can tame monsters to fight other monsters”. On top of that Game Freak literally stole the idea of pocket monsters from the show Ultraseven. Where the main character used Capsule Kaijus to help him fight other kaijus by releasing them from little capsule devices.
Idk it’s just weird to see so many people are crying about whether or not Palworld is stealing from Pokémon, like who the fuck cares. Also guess what Game Freak and Nintendo don’t care either, fuck I bet Nintendo will probably get the game on the Switch 2 in a few years. Literally mark my words, if Palworld actually continues and finishes it’s development we will 100% get a Switch 2 release of it.
It would certainly be an interesting argument.Anyone know if I can sue Hbomberguy
