Man, been playing this gaming throughout the last 72 hours, and I just had to run back to the internet and tell someone. The funny part is I noticed on twitter that there is a stubborn contingent of poke-coomers and AAA devs that are trying to fear bait as if they haven't single handedly destroyed the integrity of the game industry (over the last 3 decades).
Yea, the snakes who brought you microstransactions and releasing unfinished games are SUPER CONCERNED about the integrity of game development (on a "pokemon game" that's more like zelda and ark.)
I will say, between this and baldurs gate 3, these fucks are going to have to learn, sooner or later, that gamers aren't going to reward devs who make shit, soulless games. Let's get something straight, these guys don't give two fucks about some derivative game that MIGHT be kinda like pokemon but also not.. Like BG3, AAA devs are entirely concerned with a non-AAA company (indie) coming in, making headlines and setting the FUN standard back to its original spot. Full stop. They simply can't have that!
I wouldn't even be suprised if pokemon convinced Xbox to pull it from the gamepass (due to muh concerns). At this point, I've spent most of my hard earned gamer budget, this last year alone, on indie games; I couldn't be happier with my choices. That is exactly what's causing this entire uproar. They can all eat a bag of dicks for all im concerned.
