A Splatoon rip-off made on unity with teams Piss and Shit will potentially do better than Concord. Doing better than Concord is not a benchmark of any kind.
To actually get noticed they'd have to do something magnitudes better. I don't think they should try to one-up Nintendo at everythig. Pokemon is still a very strong brand name.

You can make a game like GO without having gacha shit in it. Pokemon GO as a concept is really fun but has been plagued by dumb developer decisions for quite some time.

And the Pokefags wanted to claim that PP ripped assets from Pokemon and modified them. Holy hell, thats blatant. It would be hilarious if PP just straight up ignore it, though, they would have a much better case than Nintendo just from a glance of things. I've inundated myself enough with Palworld to straight up say a lot of those are ripped and modified directly from Palworlds assests.
It looks like the gameplay is the same, although there are advantages to being coded in Unreal 4 for modding. Palworld beats them on this, and I really do enjoy goofing around on the back of a Jetragoon.
No, that's a literal rip-off. I've seen Blue Necromus, pink Lunaris, white Suzaku, yellow Hangyu, some extremly Gorirat-shaped lizard thing, Teafant but pig in sombrero, same fiery tornadoes that Flare Storm makes, same to the T concepts of buildings, brown Creamis, green Killamari. Not even speaking about the whole ball-throwing process, which looks the same, with catch chance percent and all that. Animations also look quite familiar. And I didn't scrutinize the trailer much to see all of it, so there's likely more.
I might be tempted to play if they have Dinoassum in a decent skin. The weird mushroom one PP released recently left me disappointed.
I wanted to see some gameplay on youtube. Got a lot of videos about how it doesn't work in latin-adjansed languages.
As much as I hate GF and Nintendo right now, it would be impossible to resist the urge to buy Pokemon Kike and Pokemon Nigger.
