Persia, Mamluks and Byz so far. I think they are also gonna do a few touch ups on other islamic countries and a few updates to some mission trees.

The subscription system has actually been helpful to me on this. Helps keep on track with the content without constantly buying the DLC.

I thought it was a decent investment. I didn't know about CreamAPI. Gonna look into it, might start using it. Especially for CK3 and HOI4 which I don't play nearly as much as EU4.

There's also SmokeAPI, which may be the preferred choice these days since it helps avoid some issues with the Paradox launcher (which acts as its own layer of DLC checking), though I'm not familiar with all the technical specifics.

And they got Muscovy treatment.
They will start really weak. No merchant loans, +200% of ship building time, 75% nerf of fort assault. Pretender rebels on every ruler death. And of course great choice of even more rebels or ruining of relations with all catholics.
Oh great, so they just buffed the Ottomans and now they assfuck the Byzantines?

Yeah Ottomans are really strong at the start but as soon as you hit 1600 they plateau and from there on it is all downhill, to the point I think they might have made them too weak in the late game. I have done 3 games and in all 3 they start getting so fucked by rebels they implode super hard to the point in two they became revolutionary targets. Quite interesting, and despite them being a bit overboard it is better than the stupid strong they were before,

I honestly find it very interesting they decide to refocus back on the ERE at this late stage. They were the target of the very first DLC, and it showed even by 1.10 or something, as the ERE lacked all the bells and whistles of the later DLCs.

It makes sense, since Byzantium is a very popular country to play as. Since they're reworking Mamluks and Persia, they might as well have done it now

They are publishing copy of Sims and Civilization. What else is really popular? Total war? Farming games?
Btw did they announce paradox con in 2023? I just want to see how much of a disaster EUV will be.
Farming Simulator rip-off
Swedish boreal forest farms get 10x crop growth on everything, even tropical fruits

and stellaris
Stellaris is a 4X game, and yeah, it's unfortunate but they've shit themselves in the last half decade. They began releasing games that were sub par to their predecessors with mods/DLCs, leaving people like me with no desire to move to them.

With Vic 2 being my game of choice I'm lucky to have an Open Source remake with their blessing in the works, but who knows, maybe more of their games will get that fan treatment if they don't pull up.

Hoi4 and stellaris is going to be there last good grand strategy game they have made isn't it?
Well... jury's out on both of those. HoI IV is at minimum decent but Stellaris has the problem of PDX not having any sort of actual vision for the game considering how frequently their focus on its features moves around.

It went from a relatively simple war simulator akin to a real-time Sword of the Stars to... a surprisingly complex econ and politics sim that's still not quite up to snuff, and PDX still having no idea what the combat is supposed to look like.
