The whole design philosophy is fucked by now. The best time i had in this game was from Prophecy to Harbinger league, ultra-broken builds, player power was somewhat easy to acquire and the new league mechanics were actually good. Starting with Abyss, the grind in leagues to finish 36/40 challenges started to get retarded and league item acquiring turned into a huge fucking grind, getting even worse in Incursion and then Delve. The big-time nerfs, with whole items and builds getting completly destroyed started somewhere around that time, too.The mechanic bloat by the time I quit three years was already insane. I cannot imagine how it is now. What I'll give for them to toss half of it into the trash and start over with a streamlined game. (They won't of course, too much money went into those gimmick supporter items that they'd probably get into legal trouble if they nixed any of it.)
I quit early Delve and i have no idea what happened after that to GGG except the Tencent shenanigans but they seemed to have radically altered their game design philosophy since then and also completly misjudged again and again why and for what their playerbase like PoE. It's like the devs are activly working against the playerbase, and while they always made some baffling decisions back in the days now they seem commited to activly destroy their game. Player retention in Kalandra was catastrophic already and seems to be even worse this league. Really makes me wonder what the fuck is going on at GGG.
