pathfinder pick up game. [recruiting] - head West for an early death

I made a Ratfolk Alchemist, and I'm almost done polishing everything to be put into the d20.

Hey, I modified one of Dunsparce's sprites to make a few "basic sprites", that can be quickly modified as player character icons.

Oh god, trying to put the details straight into roll20 is awful...

FG/PCgen/Myth Weavers at least make sense...

its p horrible but will make the game flow faster. also nice idea with the rat alchemist- i keep thinking of the rat from ratitooie, i make no promises your missions will not all feature giants trying to make french food.

Would it be easier to send you a sheet?

I figure if you're the GM you can at least change the values and stuff. As it stands, putting things in doesn't impact the rolls at all.

well, you can just share links to your sheet from mythweavers, no one besides you can edit them unless you specifically allow someones account to do so

weird i gave you control to edit the sheet. Send me a link and ill input it myself tomorrow.

edit it looks like you put your attributes in wrong, what are they? You also didn't roll them in roll 20 so i don't kn ow them to input myself.

I rolled them in a different roll20 before I realised that this had one.

Man it's gonna be fun writing up my fucking shitty kobold's backstory.

I'm currently trying to decide if I should make it vaguely sad or just emphasize how ridiculously useless and terrible he is.

4 fucking str and con on a goddamn barbarian is gonna make this shit fun

My rat can be smallness-bros with the kobold.

Maybe we've met in the past because I sold him a potion of not-smallness.

I'm a firm believer that players collaborating on backstories makes fir a better campaign. Let me know what you decide and we can go from there. I had a vague thought that the kobold warren would be a sort of fence area and that ratmen caravans would be like thieving tinkers/gypsies. That might be an area flr overlap. If you two can think of better that's cool too.

I can think of something a little more serious should I need to collaborate.

My general backstory was 'currently adventuring because not-Ratfolk wife (choose whichever race is funniest) feels that gold will be necessary to raise any future (probably horrible hybrid) children.

Hey, mind if I input some ideas for regions in this game?
Far to the west, over the mountains at the end of the charted lands, lies the stretch of burning, toxic sand fearfully known as the Necrotic Waste. This is a blighted land, known for its curse of undeath. For those who fall in the waste find that they do not pass on. Instead, their souls remain trapped in their decomposing carcasses, unable to escape. Most go mad, and become the hordes of slavering undead that stalk the wind-swept ruins. The few that retain their sanity go on to gather in small, fortified communities, often banding together with the savage barbarians of the land for survival.
The only two cities in the region are The Necrotic Gate, the entry point to this hell, and Volkriegn, the fabled dark city on the other side of the waste.
The Necrotic Gate is the last friendly settlement in the region, a small city state ruled by The Undying Watchers, a paladin order comprised mostly of undead. Guided by the lich sorcerer Hurgon, they keep the passageway to the wastes secured from their mindless brothers. The city itself is inhabited by sentient undead and various settled clans. The city is known for its practice of ancestor worship, in which undead family members are paid homage by their descendants in the forms of living quarters and blessings.

Volkriegn lies across the dark sands, and is so remote that many in the east doubt its existence. Yet, it exists, and what a wonder it is. Great basalt towers, carved from the stones of the mountains at the edge of the world. The smokestacks of buildings, the masterfully crafted stoneworks, and the wondrous devices and knowledge possessed by Volkriegn.
Alas, their knowledge is of a dark nature. Volkriegnites are a brooding, unfriendly people, who long ago turned their backs on the world. The famed devices and miracles of Volksriegn come from experiments with the black arts, consultations with demon, and pacts with the things which came before. A shadow looms over the city, and the mighty buildings and ornate art cannot hide the corruption that spreads beneath.

The Earth-Tumor
Far beneath the Wastes lies an entity only spoken about in the whispered rumors of madmen, or the high offices of Volkriegn. A cancerous rot, growing in the soil and rock like a tumor does in flesh. This Earth-Tumor stretches beneath the Necrotic Waste, slowly working its way to the surface. Its desires, nature, and origins are unknown, except to its few worshipers or the insane.

Needs to be a most beautiful Drow maiden or something like that. Like, the most absurdly pretty girl ever and nobody can understand what the fuck's going on.

All I know is that Kezz has convinced himself that, by slaughtering chickens with an axe too big for him for coin, he's proven himself as a true barbarian, and probably ended up buying some strength enhancing potion only to use it completely incorrectly, and still convince himself it made him stronger.

Kezz is a true hero. He'll never be the strongest, but that just means he has to try the hardest out of everyone!

I like it, added to the map. The mountains directly west are already... Well you'll no dobt see when you get there. I moved it to another range in the north west.

i already have a city and region very like this on map. That said I like the undying watchers and Hurgon and the Necrotic gate and have put them in.

I like this aswell, again i moved it ro be map compatible but it is there.

I like it when players share ideas like that. Because of the nature of the map i can add towns, keeps and npcs easy enough. What i cannot easily add are new regions.

If we can add areas or dungeons:

The Roost is a strange rock formation composed of a crater and a mound in the center of the former, with several anomalous properties:

  • No plant life, even the smallest weed grows within the crater. However, tall grasses and brush flourish for miles around it.
  • Those with magical talent have reported feeling watched, or even hostile voices screaming at them. Those with a bloodline of magical power report feeling hands on their back, the area seeming chilly even at high noon in the summer, and sightings of orbs of light. Both will experience fits of terror when standing on the mound of stone in the center. One enterprising Sorcerer entered the crater alone, and was struck dead the moment he stepped on the mound.
  • The mound of stone within the crater's center is formed as if by great hands, yet the Roost is older than any known mortal settlement in the area.
For their part, those living in the villages around The Roost refuse to enter the crater, citing it as a resting place of a "army" of evil spirits and the "nest" of a great "fire-bird". They will guide outsiders to it, but they will not enter.

Added, although can any future additions be sent via pm- this is a game a out exploration so surprises are best kept.

Would it be possible to have a game Thursday, or would that be too early? I'm good pretty much any day, except Friday afternoons and Saturday evenings.
(I'm on EST by the way)

This thursday? Yes if three other players could make it. What is the earliest you will be free?
