Its a bit disingenuous from Fatrick as UK pricing for petrol is in litres not gallons. Hes also doing long distances on really shitty routes. Driving London to Liverpool is a bitch because you either get stuck in traffic around Birmingham or you get stuck in M1 traffic when you turn off at Derby. Minimum is 5 to 6hrs driving with breaks and thats not including traffic. Fatrick will have gone via Birmingham so add at least another hour on for traffic. Hed have been better off just using the trains.
It seems prices were averaging across the entire US at $2.41 per gallon. It would put prices then about in line with what European prices were before 2008. Its still more expensive sure but he was never paying $8 a gallon. If he came back to Bongland hed be paying $8 for petrol but fuels been pricey here since last February.
