Becoming obsessed with eradicating pedophilia is ultimately futile and will eventually lead you to go insane. That's how you end up like we are in the UK with all these anti-pedo vigilante groups which, while they look good on the surface, have on several occasions apprehended innocent or severely disabled (literally retarded) people and plastered their face and name all over social media. Or, you can end up like certain parts of the US right now where zoomers are seriously arguing the age of consent should be raised to 25 because they think 30 y/o men dating 20 y/o women is "pedo". Similar to how anti-racism activists will start seeing racism everywhere even in innocent things, anti-pedo activists will often start seeing nonces everywhere and either drive themselves to depression or end up attacking innocent people who don't deserve it.

We're not going to erase pedophilia, unfortunately. We have the legal framework to deal with it though, the problem is that in some cases it's applied too harshly (think statutory rape cases where some 19 year old gets in shit for shagging his 17 year old girlfriend), which makes a mockery of the whole thing. But in other cases it's applied FAR too leniently, such as where people like Epstein, Jimmy Saville and Prince Andrew have gotten away with their noncery being an open secret without ever receiving punishment.

Really the more I think about it, it feels like in 2021 the common man is the one who is being attacked with pedophilia accusations over dumb shit ("You had a 19 year old girlfriend when you were 26! PEDO!"), while the elites can get away with actual outright child molestation rings and very rarely see justice. The Prince Andrew scandal here was particularly blackpilling because it seems to have been swept under the rug in a big way. The Meghan Markle racism accusations were given more support from the media and covered for longer than the Andrew-Epstein connections. And no one seems to have asked the question of whether the rest of the Royal Family knew more than they were letting on about all this.

I don't think so, unfortunately. As other posters have noted, this stuff has existed throughout human history. Child marriage was the norm in much of the world pre-1800 and even in the Victorian era it prevailed in the west.

We should just have extremely strict laws against harming minors and get psychological help for people who need it.

See I don't condone outright murder unless the pedo in question participated in most horrific crime like Peter Scully (. Murder is to me just too quick and lot painless. If we have to kill the pedos, I would have them made as example out of them.

I want to ramble more about how mainstream media seem to distract people whenever the arrest of pedo or sexual harrasser happen.
The biggest story that come up in my mind is Nick Sandmann story where unassuming group of school kids get caught up in some demonstration, this one kid who happened to be wearing MAGA hat got approached by a known grifter American Indian guy and next thing he does is nervously smile and that got international attention for a month. In the end, it was big nothing yet how many fucking dimwits were believing that story hook, line and sinker, even typical RINOs. Or how about the rape story of Brett Kavanagh on the possibility that he's going to vote against abortion? Turns out the accuser wasn't credible enough and Kavanagh himself turns out to be milquetoast conservative. Jussie Smollett story? And of course who can forget the infamous insurrection day story? Yet corporate media hastily buried the story where John Weaver from Lincoln Project was a pedo and everybody around him knew about it.

I admit at first I was really confused why the MSM kept pushing fake hate crime stories then I slowly realised that it was on purpose. Its intention was to turn the white people or people that prefer Trump as the president to dehumanise them. and distract whenever some pedos from high influential position get caught. That's why I don't find it surprising the LGBT community sperged harder at Christian Bakery refusing to bake a cake for grifter fags than a judge being caught for child pornography. There's a reason why MSM treats insurrection worse than 9/11 and currently is working overtime to demonise people who are "vaccine" hesitant. It's quite sad how effective the mass brainwashing seems to be for some people that they are willing to buy the crap from corporate media and treat the political opponents like MSM tells them to when they are just boomers tired of clown world politics. I guess political pundits like Palmer Report and Cenk Uyger in twitter do sincerely believe in their dogma and gleefully mock them but it's a predictable pattern.

While I was rambling about the effects of mainstream media, I came upon wondering is it possible in our current time to brainwash pedos we already know of. Before we were skeptical if it works but now we know it's totally possible to brainwash people like academic institutions churning out activist type people or CIA using MKultra to brainwash people to use them to their own ends. It's why I usually see people that believe in extreme left-wing ideology giddy to groom the minors to see in their dogma and teach them how to consent. In pedo's mind there's nothing wrong with violating minors if they gave the consent. I've been thinking would it be possible to brainwash pedos to think certain way, to see themselves as inferior or give the names of the people that take part in child traficking and distributing child porn. I honestly believe this is something to think about.

Most cases of pedophilia happen because the parents are too trusting of the schools/churches/gay uncles/etc. If the world was more bigoted and paranoid, most cases of pedophilia couldn't happen. There would still be those kidnappy van types, but they are in the minority. Pedophiles create more pedophiles so stopping pedophilia from happening stops it from reproducing.

Humans, like all mammals to a greater or lesser degree, are hard-wired to seek out youth and vitality in a sexually mature mate, as that increases the chance of offspring surviving. Paedophiles have some of their wires crossed for whatever reason, meaning they interpret pre-pubescent behaviours as signs of sexual maturity (something they constantly repeat is that the child was obviously coming on to them)

However, there's a separate issue at play as well: Human sexual maturity occurs between the ages of 9 and 15, much like the other great apes, so it wouldn't be unknown for a 12 year-old to be sexually mature, even if he or she was still mentally immature.

When we were just dumb, vaguely neurotic apes, sexual maturity would have been the only thing that mattered. A young, newly sexually active female is the most desirable to a male, because she can make more strong, robust babies that are more likely to survive and pass on their genes.

This is the position self-defined "ephebophiles" try to argue from, where they consider only physical development when they make their claims that it's actually okay for 50 year-old men to fuck young teens. In the most reductionist sense they kind of have a point, but they're ignoring the fact that young teenagers aren't mentally capable of taking on the responsibilities of sexual activity and its inevitable outcomes. Age of consent laws came about to protect teenagers from both their own poor judgement and lack of understanding of those consequences, but also the potential for abuse and manipulation by adults who only care about letting their instincts dictate their behaviours.

So to sum up: some of it is because of people who have their brains wired wrong, some of it is because of the conflict between instinctive behaviours and social rules that developed based on a greater understanding of mental maturity as separate from sexual maturity. The former is a product of a deformed mind; the latter is a social issue that can probably be mitigated with better education and a little applied violence.

Actually, women are most fertile at 21, so there's zero evolutionary advantage to going lower, technically. I see a lot of people repeat that myth though, and sort of assumed as much when I was younger.

So even from a supposed "only physical development matters" argument that defense doesn't actually hold up, and maybe you're right that education on this matter could help.

I think that RuPaul's Drag Race has a lot to do with the acceptance of drag queens as family friendly entertainment. It took something that used to be mainly confined to clubs and paraded it out on television for the world to see. The show presents itself as a costume and performance contest for drag queens. Which it essentially is. But the bright colors and singing attract children. The show has fans of all ages and has brought into the mainstream things that are inappropriate for children. It's not just a guy dressed up as an outrageous caricature of a woman now. There are boys being groomed into drag by their crazy parents and exposed to the kinds of men who have a high risk of sexually exploiting them.

We had a problem with little girls in pageants for a similar reason. Girls in heavy makeup and suggestive costumes paraded around for adults that may very well be pedos. With drag however there's a whole club scene that is extremely inappropriate for minors and here we have drag kids performing in some of those places. This is not ok.

Kids should not be sexualized. The more you normalize the basic pageantry of drag on them the more you normalize all the sexual content that comes with it.

There are too many instances of media defending this sort of thing. The trans agenda is part of that. Trooning out kids too young to even understand the horrors puberty blockers will inflict on their bodies is a tragedy that is going to lead to a lot of depression and suicide in the future. Not because "muh transphobic society". But because these kids have had their natural development and fertility taken away because they were groomed into decisions they didn't understand. And since it all boils down to genitals, which troons are obsessed with despite one of their main complaints being that everyone else is and shouldn't be, trans kids are sexualized from the start.

I don't think there's any way to stop pedos completely. However, a lot of the cultural changes involving troons and drag and general genderspecialism has opened the doors even wider for grooming. Police your child's internet as much as you can. You don't want your 12 year old groomed into trooning out on Reddit by some sicko who gets off on hatching eggs.
