Honestly, he probably has twisted the lessons to fit his mindset. There are always those fans who see things their own way no matter what canon does (Potter fans who excuse everything the Malfoys do, those who see MCU Loki as a pure victim, etc...)

Daria may lose at times, but that could have led him to identify with her more. She's being kicked around like he was! And Daria is still an outsider because she's not on the squad or in the Fashion Club. He likely ignores the scene with Andrea at the Costco knockoff. Daria still does what she wants like Luann in the comics, in a way. And of course, never doubt the ability of someone to pretend canon doesn't exist when they can't twist it.

Did he ever have anything to say about Tom? From what I've heard, some fans back in his heyday were pretty vocal in their dislike of him.

The best part is that the eye doctor screencap didn't render when I loaded the page, so of course I sat there staring at the blurry screencap for several minutes wondering if it was part of the joke. But anyway. I kind of wish I could've seen the resulting 'tard fit at the optometrist. I'm sure it was a sight to behold.

One thing I can't get over is his use of "mixed bag." Going to the optometrist & finding out you have cataracts & possibly glaucoma has no upsides. & the last time he used "mixed bag" was when he went to the urologist & found out about his numerous kidney stones.

As somebody who has needed (and worn) glasses for most of my life, I can tell you it's not even possible to have a "mixed bag" at the optometrist. Either it's bad news, or it's not. Something that applies to just about any doctor appointments, really. I can only assume his "good" news is they had a Garfield book to read in the waiting room.

I was scrolling through Pete's Fapbook this morning, mostly in open-mouthed horror has he reposts Tweets from the same Malarkey girl several times a day at a minimum, often with multiple reposts each time. I did hit upon a nice little mention of us in one of this slightly older posts - thanks for the shoutout, retard!

Mainly, I've decided I'm going to give it a pass.

There are a few reasons why I'm doing so.

First--and I know a lot of fans agree with me--I'm upset that Cartoon Network didn't even bother to ask the original voice cast back. I know that series creator Craig McCracken won't be back either, but at least he does have an excuse: He and his wife Lauren Faust are serving as co-creators and co-executive producers for Wander Over Yonder for The Disney Channel.

Second, I'm not too crazy about the new theme song.

Third, I'm not too crazy about the animation style. Although it's better than the one-shot special they had a few years back, it's still too reminiscent of the style of Steven Universe and We Bare Bears for my tastes.

Finally, they decided when it debuts on April 4 they're going to run it on a Steven Universe-style "bomb" schedule for the first couple of weeks. As I stated in the past, I HATE "bomb" schedules, and that's forced me to pass up on Wabbit: A Looney Tunes Production and Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! recently. When it does settle down to once-a-week on April 21 (taking up Teen Titans Go!'s 6:00 PM ET/5:00 PM CT time slot), it would be too far ahead for me to catch up. Of course it was "bomb" schedules and moving shows around with little to no warning that forced me to give up posting spoilers a few months back as well.

What a way to sour your fan base by screwing around with a winning formula, Cartoon Network.

His Prom was 30 or so years ago. Let's round up. And he's still bitter. That is...special. And honestly creepy. If it didn't involve leaving his house, I'd be worried he would go to his next reunion with a gun.

And seriously, did he go to some sort of cartoon high school? It's like everyone but his mommy has a mustache to twirl. I highly doubt that he was banned at all but if he was, it was probably wasn't because he was a sped. I wouldn't want him lurking on my magical night.
