He reacts to criticism with negativity and, back in high school, violence. He'll spread lies about others to make himself look good, all the while playing the victim.

For the record, the reason the song, and most of the movie makes no sense, is because it was supposed to be set in a normal town, but the writers or actors strike or whatever it was forced them to quickly retool it to be set inside a TV studio. So this song was supposed to literally be in the kitchen and bedroom, and be about how they can relate to objects more than each other.
